Our 2nd month into living and working on a Cattle Station in the remote outskirts of the Northern Territory. It was a busy month with no days off and plenty of jobs to do. Mainly cooking for our crew, gardening, pig hunting and building a smoker.
Lovely part of the country and just an epic place.

Such a great video Jed and Kel, chilling out having a beer watching. Very Relaxing after Hockey - we are in the GF big Dance, got a week off LOL! 33:20 - I know this is way late, but FWIW The Caps look like they have a thrip or sap sucking insect hitting them. Cheers Dave! Oh a week off after the win or before? Good Times 🤜🤛! Yeah I go out most nights after dinner with torch and slay all the bugs, they are horrendous up here. Hopefully get a few veges through the Keeper...that's half the battle! Haha Cheers mate and good luck in the final 👍👍

Get a 4-6 man tent and make/hang biltong in it away from the flys. Love doing smoked meat sticks on the smoker 🤤

Haha I've never had a fired up Olive Python yet but alot of crew I hear don't like handling them because they are grumpy. Maybe one day! Ha Yeah a few less ferals running around is always a good thing hey! Cheers Mr Payne and have a great weekend 👍

Yeah mate we are nearly into our 4th year. Easier than you'd think, just have to make a plan and knuckle down. We work when we want to not when we need to 🙌. Do it!

Great drone footage guys, well done. The garden may lack a bit of fertiliser? only a guess but good job getting it started. The lick blocks have trace elements and minerals which help the cattle break down and digest the dry pastures. Plenty of muddies (pigs) around up there to by the looks of it, good thing they didn’t get into the garden. You have certainly cleaned the yard up, looks great from when you arrived. Great job on the butchering to. Can’t wait to see what you guys get up to next. Safe journey 🍺🤙🏽

@@oldmate_adventures hi jed n kel , hope ya have a fantastic time off in the gulf fishing and mudcrabing ,when we lived in nulhunbuy for 4 years absolutely loved the place, when i got a transfer for work and didn't have much choice lol n had to leave there thats when i think i had a " Lobotomy " yeah I must have 🤣 take care . p.s how's the snakes going # lollies # hope ya got heaps. Ohh well im off too make me B'day cake and a lovely lasagna for lunch as 2 sons coming for lunch.. fck 55yrs old what happened to the year's 🤣😂😃🤣😎

Arrr that place would of been unreal hey? We are too far inland for mudcrabs etc and the last big wet season they had up here even the pro mudcrabbers have been struggling. Next time we come up though I'll bring the boat and get amongst them 👌👌

Love the drone footage. Fantastic 🙌🏻. We do livestock at work mate. Sheep and Angus beef. To be honest. I don't enjoy it much. Especially when you have to chase them around to get them on the truck. But they do do a great job keeping the grass down. I guess that is one of the reasons I love the water so much ahhah. Spend too much time on the land. Fantastic video. Done so well. Just those peas need to be 4ft high or more haha. They will get there. You will also have endless tomatoes soon. 👌
