Zaptos Media based on what I understand is people just become a digital nomad, start at a location that is cheap and fun to live in. All these SE Asian hot spots are just that. Cheap and fun! If you can make a living as a digital nomad there, then great! If not, you can have a long period of holiday for cheap. And honestly in my view, a lot of people spent more time for fun under the cover of digital nomad rather than working as a professional digital nomad. I have seen more than enough of so-called digital nomads in Bali who prioritise fun over work. Sorry, if you are a pro, location shouldn’t be an issue for you to work anywhere.

Dom Donelly you have no idea what the cheap means. About canggu, been exactly there, stayed near finn’s club. it’s CHEAP if you compare it with HKG,SIN,BKK, that’s how I find it. And NO, I didn’t eat Indonesian for each and every meal, even you talk about the high end restaurants in Bali that are owned by westerners, they are still cheaper than the price you pay at home.

Dom Donelly what does “not cheap” mean? How much is it to love monthly in Bali vs where you are now? I currently live in Texas and live frugally at about $1200/mo but could lower my spending to 1k/mo. I bet 1.2k/mo in Bali would be pretty crazy

You should check out Yerevan, Armenia. Not as well known, but those that set up base there love it and think it's very underrated.

me too... think most corporations here want to hire employees who live here or at least stay in one place. perhaps one needs to secure the job first, then just tell them you're moving to bali or whatever and that you would like to keep the job if at all possible.

Yeah the change happened really quickly but overall, the response has been quite chilled in Bali

Not really man. You just gotta find the right clients. In this video, the main client I was working for I started working with when I was in Australia, moved to Thailand (and then Bali). I didn't mention anything and neither did they. Also, I wouldn't recommend accepting lower pay because you choose to travel. You got to value what you do regardless of location.

@@danviridian he live in indonesia, its not same as in USA. We have policies here. He should pay taxes because he try to earn money in indonesia, alot foreigner here as tourism try to work here freely. Its against the law here. There is legal procedure here. U better ask him to stay in USA instead make trouble in indonesia.

Semua badan usaha yang melakukan transaksi kepada wajib pajak luar negeri diwajibkan untuk memotong PPh 26 atas transaksi tersebut. Adapun yang menjadikan subjek pajak luar negeri bagi WNA menjadi wajib pajak dikarenakan WNA tersebut menerima dan/atau memperoleh penghasilan yang bersumber dari Indonesia (Penjelasan Pasal 111 angka 1 UU Cipta Kerja) WNA yang masuk ke dalam kategori subjek pajak dalam negeri maka WNA tersebut akan dikenakan Pajak Penghasilan 21, yakni wajib pajak orang dalam negeri (Pasal 21 Undang-Undang Nomor 36 Tahun 2008 tentang Perubahan Keempat atas Undang-Undang Nomor 7 Tahun 1983 tentang Pajak Penghasilan). Sedangkan, bagi WNA yang masuk ke dalam subjek pajak luar negeri akan dikenakan Pajak Penghasilan 26 dan dipotong pajak sebesar 20% (Pasal 111 angka 3 UU Cipta Kerja).

That’s right but many venues have been closing. In Australia, it’s not full lockdown yet either but dining out and nightlife is currently banned.
