Those shots turned out pretty well I reckon! Nice stuff. I know what you mean about having the blinders on... it’s tough to adapt sometimes when you’ve got your sights set on something that just isn’t working the way you hope it will!
Really enjoyed your videos. I’m going to New Zealand next month. I’m just a beginner so listening to your advice and thought process is GOLDEN! Love how you manage all your cameras, drone, etc and out the footage together. Thank you for sharing!
Tough break re the clouds Kaitlyn. I think I probably stayed at the same place when I was last in Castlepoint, and I hear you...I DID sleep (kind of) on the beach in the vehicle.
Cool vid Kaitlyn! Would be nice to see example shots for each camera point of view together with a setup and your commentary, cant really tell if portrait looking up at the Lighthouse is the one from the above the boardwalk (from the video) Keep it up!

Kaitlyn thanks for sharing your new travels in NZ. It is helpful to see how you go about ‘getting a shot’. Nice video well put together. Any attempts at capturing the Milky Way or star trails while you were in NZ? If time permits or fits in your schedule take a look at White Island (NZ most active volcano).
Thanks for the kind words Keith. I have been fortunate enough to capture both the milky way and even the aurora australis. Unfortunately I did not record any of these adventures - next time! You can see the photos on my Instagram feed, though. I will certainly have to check out White Island, have heard heaps about it!
