Watching Dan and Arin play like this feels like I’m watching them sword fight with pool noodles

The Monopoly episode in which it turns into a low-pay worker simulator who has to watch his income and eventually all of his savings eaten up by ever increasing inflation which doesn't affect the big business owner at all and only ever increases his vast fortunes because he is the one perpetuating the inflation for no other reason than to make more money. I feel so seen watching this unfold.

Perhaps the most interesting part of this game to me was how little anyone went to jail. Usually Jail is popping in these lets plays

I'm still amazed they managed to drag out this game this long given Dan won before the end of episode one 😂

The "planned obsolescence" thing is more tied to your phone using more battery to get you to use a newer phone, iirc. Charging is just physics, high energy and low energy states.

Gonna need to see a playthrough where you systematically use all the houses & hotels... You have to put four houses on a single property before it can be upgraded to a hotel (at least in the board game). Once you've placed all the hotels you can use the houses to cover any remaining properties! It's a win-win-win-win-WIN!

For the next Monopoly series, Dan and Arin should make it like the Mario Party series where they put the NPCs on the easiest difficulty try to make them win

I’m watching this dan. I’ve gotten 4 hours of sleep in two days and got electrocuted today. My brain is gone and this is the perfect level of goofiness.

I believe others have mentioned this in the past, but I figure it's a good a time as any to bring it up again: Difficulty setting in this game doesn't change much, only how much AI dice rolls cheat. Hard AIs are more likely to avoid property owned by other players, while Easy AIs is more likely to land on property owned by other players. The decision making regarding trades is completely unchanged! They're just that stupid! (There is even an "infinite-money" trade exploit, utilizing how stupid the AI is with trading. Not technically infinte, but will let you basically steal all their money for nothing)

Cowboy Ike fits in to that merch ad like toothpaste fitting back into it's tube after getting squeezed out.

I love how they turned a game of monopoly where Dan owns the entire board from the start into a 30+ min session and I can't stop watching. Peak content!
