I agree everyone is different. I worked as a nurse ex AND part time bartender my last year of nursing school. It was tough but it is double! I have a couple videos on that also.
I work as a tech in a hospital while I'm in school. I work 24 hours a week. I wish I didn't have to work though. I want to bump down to per diem. My job only has 8 or 12 hr shifts and one time I had to work a 12 before my exam and I was like oh no!
Oh my LORDT! Before the exam? 😩 my anxiety be too bad I can not be at anyone’s job before taking my theory exam! But keep going sis 💕 it’s all going to pay off in the end when we see that “PASSED” on the NCLEX result page!

Yes girl i Definitley Agree!!! Making nursing school the top priority is the goal and if you have a job supporting that the best !!!! I worked 2 jobs while i was in nursing school and i said i would never do that again but here i am repeating the cycle again in NP school 😂 but keeping school as the priority is the best and if you have to drop hours do it !

Working in nursing school is definitely doable but, you have to be able to manage stress. For me, I’m a monitor tech PRN so i have the flexibility of changing my schedule and studying while at work. but, like you said, things could change at any point that’s why i keep myself on the PRN status and if i can work more hours, i’ll pick up more hours and if i can’t, i dont. Nonetheless, i love all of your videos and i wish you much success in nursing school 💕
Me toooo! Lmaoo. I failed it so I'm retracking into it though. It's baisically just a bunch of diseases. I suggest read ahead and KNOW YOUR MEDS. ik this isn't pharm but there are alooottt more meds than process 1&2 like serotonin, imunomodulatoes, nausea and vomiting drugs, etc. And another thing, u may be crunched on time if u make charts and graphs so don't waste ur time. Write focused notes on the diseases, their pathophysiology, onset, and symptoms. Period. Bullet point their key differences. Review it, do nclex nursing quizlet questions. The teachers pull it from there trust me. Memorize a question from a test, search it up on Google later word for word, and add the word quizlet at the end. Quizlets with that question will pop up. My fault for failing was that I got lazy. I did not bad the first 2 tests, didn't read the biggest chapter for test 3 (Diabetes) and failed that test. Couldn't recoil from that test and failed even when I nearly passed the final.
I am in prenursing school as of right now . I have reading , english and math this semester . If a tone could be kind enough to help me with math that would be a blessing because math dosent like me and I dont like math but I am pushing and trying .
