Working With a Horse Who Spooks Easily 

If you have a spooky horse you should always have a vet check done... especially to make sure that they're not in pain (may look like spooking, or a good opportunity to 'spook'), not having vision problems or that they don't have a conformation flaw like uneven eyes (one is higher than the other, etc).

Take plenty of time on the ground with him building trust around as many different scary things as possible. Take it slow and let him learn, never force anything. Make sure when he is turned out, there are no corners for him to get trapped in and socialise him with some submissive horses so he can get confident around them. Horses learn best slow and steady! he is a warmblood and ali the rider is a grand prix rider so the horse will most likely do the jumpers :)

My horse will be excitable again today because it's windy. Oh joy. He doesn't spook much but does get playful.

If anyone needs help tack it slow and don't beet the horse win with it or if you beet input horse it's going to be harder for your horse

At least your spooky horse can jump !!!!! Mine can't I am trying to teach her but she just can't and every time I try I have always fallen off !!!!!! Could I use a shadow roll on uneven ground? My young mare is spooky and we ride a lot of cross county over uneven ground, through streams, over logs. I'm worried a shadow roll would make it hard for her to find good footing.

ummm can you make a video about how to teach your horse to not kick the stalll door because on e of the horses at mt stable kicks his stalll door when we are feeding and he does it until he gats his food its so annoying.!!!!! plz responde

i have a really spooking ponies.he even spooks at other horses is there anyone that use could help with like little thing that can make he less spooky as he a lovely pony but i cant take him to any show as every time a horse that bigger then him he rounds and canter off on the other way . but i think it started wen my sister ex stallion wen into a field with him and started kicking and biting at him and had he into the corner off the field .so if anyone that could help me with this problem ?
