If parents respected their kids as much as you guys respect your parrots, the average level of happiness in the world would be alot higher.
@sonnyseabury4051
@sonnyseabury4051 5 лет назад
We would also have alot more realistic human beings walking around that aren't self entitled, thinking that the world owes them a living, and acting much nicer. If a bird can look at another bird and not care that it's different, we as people, need to stop obssessing on a person's skin color, since we're all humans, that come from the same creator. It's a very sad day in society, when birds act more peaceful, and act much better, than many people in society.
@sonnyseabury4051
@sonnyseabury4051 5 лет назад
Lastly, parent's need to learn to be their kids parent, and not their best friend, failing to discipline their child, when they need it the most. Many of these kids that are poorly raised, become problem adults in society, that the tax payers have to pay for in prison.
@ManBearPig14
@ManBearPig14 5 лет назад
@@sonnyseabury4051 That's not how it works Sonny, being a criminal is most of the time a genetic trait, so it's not the parents's fault. The majority of them, when they get out of prison, go back to the same habits, whatever they are. And I really hope you're not one of those people who mix up ''discipline'' with ''physical punishment''.
@sonnyseabury4051
@sonnyseabury4051 5 лет назад
@@ManBearPig14 Most of the time like you said, which means not all of the time. The way a parent raises their child, most definitely could have alot to do with if their child becomes a criminal. People might take you more serious, with your giving advice to other people, if you changed your horrible screen name. There's a fine line between discipline and abuse, when it comes to raising a child.
@ManBearPig14
@ManBearPig14 5 лет назад
@@sonnyseabury4051 You said in your first post to not judge a book by its cover talking about skin color, what about not judging me based on my youtube name? And the line is very obvious between discipline and abuse, the moment you start hitting a child, it doesn't matter how hard you do it, it's abuse of power. Put yourself in the kid's shoes, imagine there's a giant human, who's way more powerful than you, who decided to use his physical advantage to ''discipline'' you. The only thing you would learn is that your parents are scary and you are inferior.

The08450 cockatiels are the best! I have two. I got from a breeder near by my house. She took them about everywhere she went as babies and they are the best! I got them at 2 months old or so, try to get one as young as you can if your looking for one that cuddles and loves.

Breeders, get one that's a couple 3 months old, your taking such a huge risk if this is ur first bird if u rescue because you might not get what ur wanting or know why the bird is in a rescue, careful, get a baby and you'll do great!

I just recently came across your videos & have been watching a lot of the free fly videos, I am very familiar with southern Utah & the places you have been, looking at the places you call a level 3 I was wondering if you would ever consider what I would rate as a level 10 compared to them. The place I am thinking of is Toroweap point, It definitely would be way more advanced than what you've been doing due to the winds that rise out of the Grand Canyon but it would make for some really great footage.

Hello, I came by mikey the macaw, I already explained that I am Brazilian, yes I am from Brazil, I really like your work in encouraging people not to cut their birds and show how you can have your bird with you and have the freedom to fly, I'm intending to buy a macaw so that I do not know how to speak English (now you ask me how I'm talking to you, I do not know, I'm speaking with a tool that calls itself a translator) this barrier that I need to break, I do not know what to do, if I take a course to learn engles it will take a long time and I do not want to stay two three years studying engles by dps to do the course I wanted something faster, once I learned several things free flight I did not learn much, now with you posting several things with me I'm starting to have a base (a matter of context, dog when you take him to walk you wear a leash, and give me some direction or, tell me one thing or, I do not know, something ng that can help me (another question: I never had macaws always perequitos or calopsita that care, space, diseases common in macaw a min warns me .) thank you very much if you read until aki, I am very grateful to read until aki.

Please help!! Hi ihave a question. I have 2 macaws, scarlet is 6mths old, when I got her at 4mths, I was having her step up onto my hand, over time she started to not do that trying to bite hard, to get her out of her cage she has to fly. It's intestine the only time that she will step on to my hand is when she crashes down to the floor. My second macaw is different aproxmally 6 weeks young, she love to be on people all of the time. Both macaws live in the same cage. Have the same love given... I do try to give the scarlet a little extra time without the other macaw in the same room. At 7.52 this explains about not moving the target stick so the bird does not get frustrated. I have been learning my bird to spin around and this problem with moving the target stick in a circle really annoys my bird, how can I learn my bird the spin without annoying her by doing this movement? She knows quite a few tricks and loves our training sessions but once I do the spin I can see her eyes pinning with anger. She does spin but I don’t like annoying her so I’ve stopped asking her to do the trick. I’m sure there is a simple answer I’m just not getting it ! Can anyone advise ? Thankyou 💕💜💕

By 2:40 I already feel so unqualified to own my parrot. I hope I become a better owner soon after watching all these videos. I’m scared of getting bit by my bird.

I need help, how can i make my parrot trust me? She doesn't want to jump in my hand , she feels scared to do so. She lets me pet her but that's the limit.

Why use the clicker when it startles him? A click with your tongue works as well, is soft and always available (so you can reinforce any behavior the bird does which you like and want them to repeat)... 😊👏👍

There are several factors in training a parrot. One plan I found that successfully combines these is the Parrot ploy plan (google it if you're interested) it's the best resource i've heard of.Check out the awesome information .

Why not condition w clicker first so it doesn’t startle when target training, that’s what I find works w my bird.

Hey im watching you for a long time and i noticed that some birds just disappear from your videos and never come back. If something had happened to them we are not going to be mad at you or anything but i feel like we deserve to know because they are a big part of your channel. Sorry to bother you but there were some birds that i really loved :)

TheElectric100 yeah, I work with a lot of birds for a designated amount of time and then that’s it. They go back to their owners and I don’t always get updates. I also don’t expect owners to want to be on display for the public for life updates - some birds have passed on like Hymie the hyacinth and Rasta the alexandrine but they were within the past couple of years that happened. Storm as far as I know is well and good last time I wrote his owner but some of those playlists are from ten years ago or so, but yeah, I’m only really in control of sharing what I have in my present. And usually I have shared it on my blog at www.birdtricksblog.com 💕

Try to change the treat also. Some birds like things more that others
