LEAVE A GAP BETWEEN EACH TILE AROUND THE FIREPLACE! To make it look like grout. You should have measured the gap you had left at the end when you stuck them across the top, then divided it between the amount of tiles you had across the top. That will give you the gap measurement between each tile. then, just carry it on down each side. DO IT AGAIN, it looked fab!

Tiles usually have grouting space between them! I reckon if you left half a centimetre between the title stickers then they might fit better x

tiles. what you should do is leave a gap between each tile. that represents the grout. on the top put all the tiles together and when you left with the little gap, measure it and divide it to make equal gaps between the top tiles. then do the same down the sides x. Also cus they fit perfect on each side, just leave a gap in the top middle tiles and going down the side!

With the tiles on the fire, why don't you start from the outside, then cut the middle one above the fire down equally on both sides, so it fits, it'll look fine. Ace vlog by the way, creased me up when James said "are you coming on to me?"..... love it.

What if you had gone up each side as planned. Then, started in the middle with a partial cut out the middle bit of the star, and then continued on along right and left with the full tiles?

The centre tile should be the top of the tile , the point. Work in from either side and fill the gap in the middle with that. It's the only way and woulds still look cool

Clair, you have my total sympathy concerning James's farting! That was waaaaaaay too much for one vlog! Despite our laughter and having to rewind to the bits that we missed, it was still too much! We had never seen the advert with Sly and the gang but its awesome! It was good to see James clear out the garage but he still should have spoke to Clair first before putting things away. Anyway, loved the vlog as always. Stay scummy!
