Great video. I was concerned, however, about the footage showing the Scaffolding Truck driver who had his left hand resting on the steering wheel as he was driving, with his other hand holding onto the middle of the steering wheel by his fingertips. What ever happened to the 10-2 rule of being able to control a vehicle in an emergency situation?
Like the 'Speak Up' message a lot. Don't like the Hoodie wearing as presents a big risk to the wearer & workmates around them, reduces vision & listening for risks on worksites. Would have to make this very clear to any new staff prior to watching the video. Very surprised this was not discussed with the staff in the construction industry before filming. .
Good start but would expect a lot more. The words aren't up long enough to read and take in the scene. Some of the speakers were hard to understand and would be harder for people with English as a secondary language. And proof reading would go a long way (1:19 - it's 'harm' not have). If you are going to show safety I would expect PPE to be worn properly (3:30 how are these ear muffs supposed to work through a hoodie and a hat? and after that ear muffs seem to be more of a fashion statement than PPE?) I also would not allow hoodies worn like this, they restrict peripheral vision.
