You seem to have a pretty good feel for organization. How about popping over to the US and giving me a hand with my shop?😁😁 Seriously though, the place looks pretty good from here. But as you say, after a bit of time you will find things to change again. thank you for sharing. Have a great 2024 and stay safe.🙂🙂
It's been great having some regular DUWW content. Now you have a happy home I hope to see some projects rolling out soon. The enclosure will be a great start! :D
@@barberspaddockwoodworking We may have a different mindset Anthony, everything in the workshop that is tied down or has a permanent home is part of the workshop and anything else is just 'in' the workshop. 🙂🙂
Think I would have placed your jointer where your new saw is and your new table in the centre of the shop and made the out feed table larger which would double up as a project assembly surface. Most woodworkers including myself set the table in the centre of the workshop. Great video as usual. Keep it up.
Thats how I've had the workshop for the past eight years or so (watch Ep.01 of the series) and it worked great but i was very surprised to end up with more space with the current layout although i added a bigger saw. i would never had realised that if i didn't change it. Thanks mate
Many shops put the jointer on one side or the other of the TS. Hard to see in your vid but the jointer would work well next to the TS slider. Wouldn’t interfere with the max cap of it. Give it a go
I had the jointer in that position when i first moved it around in the video and just didn't like it there. The jointer works great where it is, i had no reason really thinking about moving it
Great layout. The smaller tools are in the right place. I think. I dont have a lot of room in my garage, so I have utilised 4 mobile carts for my tools. All the best.
Congratulations? Looks good. "Those heroes that shed their blood and lost their lives... you are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore, rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and the Mehmets to us where they lie side by side here in this country of ours...
I know I'm continuously moving things around in my mainly hand-tool shop to get better work flow and more storage, looks like you have made good use of the space. Wish my shed was bigger to move around more.
Yes Anthony is correct. if you look at the end of scene where i finish off the piping to the bandsaw you will see the microswitch and the wires. Thanks and cheers mate
