Sidell is proof that just because you're old doesn't mean you're DEAD. Sis was living her best life. I love her, I hope she had a magical, full, wonderful life filled with love and joy.
Sidell and Duke were a clear highlight. When you’re older looking for love, you’re likely not thinking about kids or establishing your career and just ready to live life with someone. They just jumped right into it and honestly, that’s the best.
"i like a woman who's intimidating" and the first woman they show is simply talking about how she prefers younger men because they treat women more like individuals the fact that if a woman asks for something as basic as being treated as a human, she's "intimidating" still to this day
Fire breathing dragons is cool, you just need someone with similar interests, which I imagine was harder in the 80s without the internet to connect people with more obscure hobbies
The elderly couple had more charisma in one fingernail than the younger ones did in their entire bodies...combined. LOVED the elderly couple. So fun, so cute.
Sidell sounds like the kind of woman who’s both the favorite grandma/aunt, but is also the family member who has the stories that your parents don’t tell you until your older, despite how awesome they are. “WHAT?! Grandma did THAT when she was younger? Why didn’t you tell me she did that awesome thing?!” “I only just remembered now.”
not to mention that she and Duke look like theyve already been married for 30 ought years and had another "first date" with the balloon cuz theyve been bored with an empty house and Duke being retired and all
My siblings and I joke that my dad didn't exist from beginning of puberty until he met my mom. I didn't even know that he had gotten shotgun married straight out of high school because he thought he got a girl pregnant until I was in high school. And the only reason I know that is because he drunkenly told one of my friends about it
Sidell and Duke made me believe in love again, that was freaking amazing. She's so charming and adventurous, and Duke is down with it! Match made in heaven!!
That's pretty cool. I love how age diverse this show is. There's an elderly focused episode or two on Dating Around (Netflix). Blind Date (2000s) is hilarious, but it was obvious they gave an elderly lady a crappy date on purpose, it was messed up. She was cute and spunky, and genuinely wanted someone. I hope she found one.
I'd wager most old people wouldn't want or need one. I worked in Elder Care for a while and seniors hook up like crazy. Whether it's in retirement homes, bingo, fishing, even funerals... Old folks are on the prowl and will meet other people to hang out with and hook up.
Jack not understanding “hand on your fanny” is even funnier the second time. I literally rewound to watch his reaction again after not knowing that’s what it meant.
This is both hilarious and cringy . The most realistic people were the old couple as they were just having some fun. The rest looked weird some kind of looked plastic, especially the host. Love watching your channel as seeing you having such a good time makes me feel good to, brightens up my day.
Long walks on the beach- FIRE BREATHING D R A G O N S What in the everloving fuck was going on in these segments? This feels like the origin of the “blank but it’s out of context” genre of videos
@@bread4108 Especially cause of the stigma that being old is awful and you lose the love over the years, it’s lovely to see people love eachother at that age
"Richard has been divorced 3 times, and Granny's got arthritis, and Richard has been divorced 3 times, and Gran...." and the infinite loop continues to this day.
Jack "He probably killed the previous three." Me: Remembers Rodney Alcala who went on a dating game show and the woman who picked him decided to not go out with him after the show - escaping a serial killer. This was in the 70's though not the 80's.
Sean: "A clothing optional place...is that your subtle way of saying you went to a nudist colony?" Richard: "Yeah." LOL! That seriously couldn't have been edited better. XD
Watching Rodney Alcala on the dating game is super creepy after knowing what he did! I'm glad that lady got so creeped out that she refused to go in a date with him. Good instincts!
@@fatherman3547 this guy named Rodney alcala went on a dating show WHILE ON A KILLING SPREE. A N D W O N. After the woman saw him, she decided to not go on the date which was a good choice
@@amelieg246 Basically there was a guy on the show and he was one of the contestants. He ended up winning the girl, however she got too creeped out, and they never went on the date. Then I cant remember if it was that night or the next day, but he killed someone.
I wonder how sean’s gonna feel when he finds out there was actually a serial killer on a dating show in the 70’s literally nicknamed “the dating game killer”
They were super wholesome. Just tried looking them up (I'm going to assume they've passed by now, sadly) but I couldn't find out how their relationship went
“I like a woman who’s intimidating. I just like someone who can put it to me” Me: “ooo a bottom” Seán: “this is turning into dominatrix stuff real fast” glad we’re on the same page 😂
@@no-yy7dz Well I was actually referring to the fact that "romance is dead" could still apply since it's such an old video but thanks for making it more depressing
Who else has thought that Sean’s videos have gotten way more funny and of a higher quality than his past videos. Almost as if he’s finally passed the humble beginnings
"Early to bed and early to rise makes a woman healthy, wealthy, and wise." *smacks forehead in "I was an eighties baby. OH MY GLOB.". EDIT: I spoke too soon! Richard, divorced three times ((sus!)) smiles like Sheldon Cooper.... 😓
I'm dating someone I work with and on Sunday night on September 12th we hung out for the first time and we told each other that we love each other at her house and I haven't left her place since that night, it's crazy for real but it's the best thing I have ever had and I have never felt this way about anyone before, she's truly special.
Jack: "that or he murdered the last 3 and h he's looking for his next victim." Me: "I wonder if he knows about the serial killer that was on a love game show. Rodney Alcala"
The hosts for these shows are half the fun for me. They always say what everyone's thinking. Also I hope that Sidell and Duke had a nice time together. I know this was damn near 40 years ago but still, what a wholesome duo.
Slidell: I've already unclamped the suspension, if you know what I mean. (About the closest I have been to a jeep trip myself, though I know you need to untie the U-bolts)
