The AutoHeight feature is revolutionising instrument height measurement. With the release of the Leica FlexLine Series TS03, TS07 and TS10, Leica Geosystems provides not only a new range of reliable, long-lasting and high-quality manual total stations but also introduces AutoHeight - an innovative functionality for getting the instrument height with a simple button press. The AutoHeight functionality is available in the Leica TS07 (optional) and TS10 (standard).
With AutoHeight one of the last analogue measurement procedures is replaced by a simple button press which delivers the following key benefits:
- No more time lost during cumbersome tape handling
- Accurate and reliable instrument heights
- No more mistakes in manual height reading and typing
- No more additional equipment to take care of
This enables you to finish the Station Setup in an efficient and reliable way so that the you can quickly focus on the actual working task:
Leica FlexLine TS07 (AutoHeight optional): leica-geosystem...
Leica FlexLine TS10 (AutoHeight standard): leica-geosystem...

About time. How is it that the machine can measure any point and give you its height etc, but the machine couldn't do a simple measure of its own height

Why did it take so much time to get this function?..
@elvir07
@elvir07 5 лет назад
KofteciRamiz because you need a very tiny laser system which could be integrated in the instrument axis😉

Elvir Malkoc there has already been a laser in the axis of the instrument in the form of a plummet for literally years!

Michael Ardoin you have to understand that a laser pointer and a laser measurement module is not the same thing!Therefore they got it now!Enjoy!

@@elvir07 You are damn right! It's very difficult to integrate batteryless, buttonless and screenless distometer bottom of total station instead of laser plummet. It's hard like a sending PHILAE to Comet P67 so it took years... ;)

as a dealer i can tell you...nobody of "you" will add the needed 850usd dollar for this... (this technique is not so cheap as a simple laserpointer in case of the needed distancer) allways i hear: uhmmm, thx but no ... i can use the free measuretape in box easy... its unfortunateley not all about the needs of the market but more about the willing to investe in good solutions. and yes even when i sell up to ts16 everything..i am a big, big fan of the flexlines.. since they enter market ~ 2005er
