Love the new style. I fell out of love with watching tournament fishing after I saw how many of the bass died. This new format is awesome and very exciting. Keep it up guys.
what a wonderful video, thanks for taking all the time to let us all get a feel for what its like on MLF. Sitting here in the ice and snow waiting for the weather to break this is one wonderfully but together bit for sure. Best of luck Jacob!!
yo seriously I remember BASSMASTER on the old SNES and my dad and I would spend hours trying to snag a lunker bring it back for real like Madden style where you can go thru your career and all that good call Addison
Best content video I have seen in some time. Not only do I have a better feel what MLF is doing, but you take us with you through the entire tournament. MLF better be paying you for this content, because it is the best promotional video they have so far. Keep making videos like this and MLF will explode. I am now a fan ... Nicely done!!!!
After following you guys I was a little shocked at the jump from the traditional bass fishing organizations, but after watching I think this is an excellent excellent way to be fishing, this format is the best.
Jacob and DC are the two most entertaining pros to watch. I have to figure out the bandito bug. Only Googan bait I haven’t caught anything on. And I’m so jealous of those Florida lakes. Look like bass heavens. Great editing too..guessing it’s Bryant and/or Wes. Those guys are great at what they do.
I always loved the tournament pressure of MLF there’s barely any time to horse around you have to locate and catch fish and do it better than your opponents the action is awesome!
You make fishing look even more exciting than it is. I love how you just go out there and have fun! MDJ could use a camera. The rapport between you two is cool. Rock on guys.
I can’t believe you didn’t show up on my recommendations before. Lots of fun watching you and it sounds like a congrats on a new baby is in order. Best of luck!
It's funny watching this video and looking back from where it first began. It definitely changed the future and tournament fishing for you guys and you haven't changed much at all, yall are still just as humble and competitive which I Know your that competitive anyways lol and you've been filming ever since and I've watch every single video and commented a bunch. But man I just want to thank you for it all and MDJ,DC and Adrian.wish I could do what you guys do I enjoy every video man.
been waiting for this video..awesome man, so cool to see that your dreams came true and you getting to do what you love.good luck man, and make it happen
42:40 It was sad, but good to see A Mart jaw jackin' with y'all, very sad he was taken from us so soon. Thanks for sharing your footage, was hugely enjoyable.
I enjoy your videos but never comment anything, but when that reel slipped out of your duckett rod.. That was heart felt. I’ve had the same thing happen with my setups. Keep on keeping on!
I remember watching Gary in the eighties when I first started watching bass masters. He was always on top of the leader board. I’ve had the itch to bass fish ever since then but where I lived, there are no bass( Alberta). I finally moved (Ontario) where there is bass and it’s everything I imagined. Guido Hibdon was my favourite to watch. You’re my new favourite 🙏🎣
Great video.if I were there,I would be so excited I couldn't hold it together.probably forget everything I knew.i remember feeling that way just before a big golf tournament.bogey the first couple of holes before calming down
I really enjoy watching you when you’re fishing ,You really take everything very serious 👍 I really enjoy following you too. And you seem to treat everyone nice 👍
Great video J Wheels. How about DC's comeback on Saturday? I kept up with event Tuesday through Sunday by watching the live feed when I could and checking the Score Tracker. I have one request, throw a Go Pro on MDJ and DC so you can show us their highlights when you do The video for the next derby.
Everyone hating on the MLF format and saying all they catch is dinks must not have paid attention to D.C at all. Dude caught 27 pounds in 5 fish in 30 minutes, and went from 20th to first. That’s what makes this format exciting and sets it apart from the rest. It’s fishing, and it’s raw. It’s not some cut up glorified footage giving you the unreal expectation that you’re gonna catch a double digit fish every cast. It’s competitive and intense, and keeps you invested knowing someone could jump from last to first with a couple of dang slaunch donkeys. It’s real fishing.
That video just made me subscribed to your channel. It's awesome to see "behind the camera" of MLF. Long live to MLF!! Such a nice format. I'm waiting for the next round, what are you doing!!?
Jacob Wheeler Fishing Hey man I appreciate you commenting back it really shows you read the comments. Ole Scott Martin hasn’t done that yet. Tight lines brother! Good Luck this year! I got a couple tournaments I fish so I’ll be taking some notes after you!
I'm not a fisherman at all. in fact I sold all the fishing gear I bought when I went camping. this was really cool though to see all the behind the scenes fishing gunna watch the next one now.
Tristan Wood I know man it’s one of my favorite ways to catch them. That fish came off because that Mat broke loose when I set the hook which gave the fish slack and not a solid hook set.
So i have heard to keep your rod tip down so you can set the hook easier and better, but I see you with that Neko rig with your rod straight up, does it matter either way, just personal preference?
I’m still not sure how I feel about the MLF style but I think it’s starting to grow on me I want them do make it like the Texas fest where you bring in one big one
I would like to know what it takes to break into the MLF field at the bottom level and work up. Or do they just pic pros from the top and that the extent of it
Idk about this format it’s fun as a one off event but catching 5 biggins to me is more exciting than 100 1lb 6oz fish. I don’t mind the weighing system I think it’s good practice but catching 5 big bass is what tournament bass fishing makes it great!
