The songs are never known before hand as the Dj has his freedom to drop whatever he deems necessary to the atmosphere. The song's are generally break beats and once you get an ear and feel for the rhythm then it's easy to know when to hit the hi hat or snare or whatever part of the song you like, the mastery is doing it fluidly which is very difficult. Most songs the bboys will have heard before but Dj's tend to mix up songs they know to make things a bit more interesting :) Peace
haha now that's what a Bboy battle suppose to be, full of flava and plays with the beat. Much respect to Thesis, Keebz, Yan, & Pluto from Indonesia here.
Actually, here's the tie-breaker if anyone wants to check it out: /watch?v=n7jjGO2WMV4 Key100 must've been sitting next to Joe, haha. IMO, the battle was close, but the tie-breaker was not. Judge for yourself.
take it easy guys :) Yan is old ass more then 10 years can do everything right. I saw him 6 years ago with air twists at one arm he can be a champion pretty easy but I don't think that he want it...
