I love how Yan is just having fun and smiling the whole time while he was battling against Lil G. Respect to him. Everybody bboys should have fun battling and not take it so seriously,
Everybody that are saying the lil g is not a bboy because he only does power moves are wrong. It's his own style, like roxrite only does footwork but no one criticize him for that. I'm pretty sure those judges are professional bboys who know more about this dance than everybody in the comment section.
It's not even true that's what is annoying about it lol, he has decent floorwork in between and his toprock is acceptable. He only focuses on his power, and even then most of the powermoves he does are signatures. If people think Lil G is bad then they clearly haven't seen Cico.
I kinda wish Yan went toe to toe with Lil G on powermoves. Even in his early years of breaking his power was absolutely sick and you’d have been excused for thinking he was just a powerhead!
at about 0:37 yan predicts what lil g is going to do.... the non bboy commentator says yan is "warming up, little bit of stretching, he's gotta be ready" ....... i bet the other commentator is thinking to himself.... "what a fuckin idiot!"
to everyone that thinks yan shoul win this n that he is the crowds favorite, watch the video again, what exactly did he do that was soo awesome to have everyone cheer for him, its because its at his country where people know him, the same thing with the bc one after this with klesio if both of thos bboy did that some wehre else they wouldn't last the first round. lil G took that one home, but props to both
People were mad at Yan for the Hong 10 thing but Hong 10 didn't bring his A game. He was hurt as well and made a couple of mistakes.(Watch the battle again closely). In any case, Lil G was a monster here.
Haha, Lil G definitely won this. The originality in those moves and transitions are just fucking amazing, and he added some footwork in his second set. Yan repeated quite a bunch of moves, seen in 0:52, 0:58, 1:09, the suicide at 2:05 and overall his second set was just one of the weaker sets.
lil g can be such a power head sometimes :(... his power is amazing but sometimes he goes overboard with it... he sometimes needs to think of the balance between dance and power
