Only complaint about all WorldCat boats is lack of easy access to anchor locker. Front side/lounge seating is nice but should leave the very front open to allow easy access.
Hi MultiFin - well we did in fact sea trial the boat - and that is how we filmed all the drone footage of the boat you see in the video. It was windy so we had Todd walkthrough the boat at the docks to explain the features so viewers could hear him. We can say that on a windy day with some chop on the ocean South of Cape Cod, on the ocean side (not the bay) she handled great, cutting the waves with ease and delivering a stable, dry ride. The World Cat 280CC-X has quite high forward freeboard and can handle long offshore runs. She tops out around 50 MPH and cruises nicely at 26 MPH burning around 10.2 gallons/hour at that speed. Of course all of that depends on your power package, load, sea state and weather conditions.
