Someone needs to burn some sage in that arena, or maybe call a priest for an exorcism, before a single gymnast performs another ribbon routine there. Good grief.
All of Kaho Minagawa's appearances in this video were from one and the same routine - ribbon apparatus final. She made SO much errors that I felt so bad for her... I was inside the arena.
you mean this happens when the COP is extremely sided and not even, when the COP was pure body difficulty there were too many mistakes, specially at the beginning of that era
Usually I don't watch RG fails. But my friends who've been keeping up have been telling me that the magnitude of "fails" was more then ever at world's. I'm SHOOK! Does someone have an explanation ???
@@biserkamarty5776 Oh lord! Just when I thought RG was a safe coded sport... Hopefully the comittee can back down on emphasising difficulty before it's too late (cough cough Artistic Gymnastics)..
@@annapavfan4680 rhythmic gymnastics has never been a safe code, it changes every 4 years and is updated every year so we could say that a new code emerges ever year for example in 2017 de Cop was based on 20, 10 for difficulty and 10 for execution, regardless of this you could have a D score above it, but you could only be counted 10 on D score, and you should performed a maximum of 9 bodu difficulties, now this year the technical committee allowed open scores which means your start value could be above 10 and if you performed everything it will be counted, as well a huge difference between this cop and the past one it's the score sheet, the past cycle you handed the judges you're routine on paper, now in this code they should decipher what difficulties elements are you performing in your routine and based on it award you a score
They are terrifying for me as well. There's a Romanian gymnast who did a backscale pivot and she twisted very abruptly and her knee got severely hurt. I saw it one time and could never watch it again.
Is the reason for extra ribbons, clubs, hoops etc there for incidents like these so they aren't running off the floor or performing with a tangled ribbon?

No, if they lose the apparatus they have to follow the music after, they cannot continue what they were doing when they lose it, or else theyll fall behind the routine and the music

Just think training for this long, and your ribbon gets caught or breaks. What a way to go out. Something goes wrong that you can't even control really.
J’en fait de la 𝙶𝚛 et c vraiment un sport difficile et faire tomber ses engin arrive à tous le monde même aux meilleures et c n’est pas parce que on réussis au entraînement que on va réussir à la compétition c sa le plus dur
шахло кудратова it’s because of difficulty in their performance surpasses all other contestants. Even with the mistake, their routine were more complex.
I mean it’s fine if they “failed” it’s hard and takes practice. It’s not a “fail” it more of a mistake. As a 11 year old in my opinion the word “fail” is a strong word.♥️
thats what happens when the code of point puts too much emphasis on apparatus difficulty, all the girls went on higher difficulty they couldnt handle, resulting into a lot of mistakes 🤦🏽♀️
