This is a complete playthrough of World Class Track Meet on NES, both the Tournament and Olympics modes. I completed this on an actual Power Pad. It's a short game that is made longer in this video by long breaks in between some of the races. There's no editing here, this is exactly as I experienced the game. I was winded after just a few runs, so just imagine in the non-action parts of the video that I am resting and trying to get my breath back for the rest of the events! I could have performed better in the Olympics had I taken a longer break, but I'm happy with how it turned out as it is.

We rocked this game in the 90s! It took us a while to learn how to go super fast : stand at the edge of the circles and paddle like crazy. Rabbit was super easy yo beat then. Long jumps were especially fun. You just run fast, jump off, then (with proper timing) tap your toe on the circle. So many memories!

I don't know anyone to ever have sprained their ankle let alone break it playing this game. Although, my family was always into sports in their youth at least, and we definitely played this as a family for the most part. Some of us stayed up later to actually beat the game solo, duo, or both lol. But maybe it was a case for you, I just never knew anyone who got hurt from playing NES.

This brought me aaalllllllll the way back. We used to hold on to the TV while running and use our fists for the long jump. Couldn't play this game upstairs in a 2 story house lol. I could NEVER beat Cheetah!

Lots of sweating on this game! Secret is to barely pick your feet up, maybe a half inch, when you run. Long jump / triple jump, you can jump off to the side of the mat, then back on to land. Just don't go too far or you'll fail.

Thanks for this. Several times I was weirdly trying to remember if the song was always long like that back in the day and it wasnt matching up for me.
