CWC 2003. World cup 2003. World cup final 2003 - India vs Australia. Virender Sehwag 82 off 81 balls. 10 fours and 3 massive sixes. India vs Australia #kohli #sehwag #worldcupfinal
India wale isi liye Trophy nhi le Pa rahe hai Kyunki Yahan Kisi ek player per target lagakar chalte hain aur Australia wala koi bhi player Aakar match Jita deta hai😂😂😂
Sehwag paji was the only batsman who dare to hit in any situation If team score is 9 down and need only one or two runs still viru paji will try to hit six ..... totally fearless player .... No one can replace sehwag paji
The same Sehwag who scored 82 runs against mighty Australian team failed for 6 runs vs Netherlands , 24 runs vs Namibia , Super 6 :- 3 runs vs Kenya,1 run vs New Zealand ,33 runs in Semi finals of 2003 World Cup which clearly shows a single player can't save the team in all matches from league to finals of World Cup .
we won 2011 WC ,but still Team India performance in 2003 WC was electrifying..really we deserved it but lost to a team which was just 1 step above us ..that final just the day before 10th history exam (23-03-2003) bringing tears even after 17 years..thank you Dada ,thank you Sachin...thank you team India for giving an awesome childhood..

All dear interested readers, I'd like to ask five questions. If possible, try and answer them ON YOUR OWN WITHOUT SEARCHING ON GOOGLE. 1. Who is the FIRST player to score century in his FIRST EVER ODI MATCH OF HIS FIRST World Cup ??? BONUS : Venue ??? 2. Who is the FIRST PLAYER EVER to score century in BOTH TEST & ODI CAPTAINCY DEBUT match ??? BONUS : FIRST AUSTRALIAN TO SCORE CENTURY ON HIS ODI CAPTAINCY DEBUT ??? 3. MOST DIFFICULT CRAZIEST QUESTION (IF you know this, then you MUST BE GOAT) Who was BOWLER and who was the no. 11 batsman in FAMOUS NINE SLIPS AUS vs ZIM 1999 ODI match ??? BONUS : IN FIRST EVER RECORDED INSTANCE OF NINE SLIPS, who was the BOWLER and who was the no. 11 ??? 2003 World Cup SPECIAL..... 4. In immortal IND vs Pak match, Sachin was thankfully dropped early on in the innings. Who was the BOWLER and who was the FIELDER who dropped the catch ??? BONUS : Sachin's EXACT score, balls played & FIELDER who caught him in this match ??? 5. In 2003 WC Final, Sehwag scored blistering 82 off 81 before being run out by impeccable throw. However he was already CAUGHT OUT earlier BUT WAS SAVED OFF A NO BALL. Who was the BOWLER and who was the FIELDER at that moment ??? BONUS : Who was the BOWLER and who was the FIELDER who ran out Virender Sehwag in 2003 WC Final ????? In my opinion, THESE ARE HONESTLY TOUGH QUESTIONS. Even I won't be able to answer first 3 and other bonus questions correctly. But since I've tried to know and read more about this, I know few of them. Don't AT ALL, be disheartened if you don't get them correct. After all, we're born to get educated day by day, so our interests love and passion CANNOT BE MEASURED BY ANY QUIZ OR EXAM EVER. Such difficult questions from your side are also MOST WELCOME. Do reply the answers soon as per your convenience. KEEP QUIZZING. KEEP SMILING. 👍😘😊

Couldn’t stop crying as Sachin got out. My whole family consoled me but it never stopped as the fall of wicket continued with Ganguly Dravid and lastly Sehwag on 82. Sachin’s first boundary was the hope against all odds. Would never forget that doomsday. I wish we could have won that World Cup.
India played 11 matches in 2003 World cup Sachin was top scorer in 6 matches and almost played well in 8 matches with 6 half centuries and 1 century which was major reason Why India qualified for 2003 World cup finals - Sachin alone has to save the team in all matches from league to finals of World cup means Why other 10 players in team?
not really. I switched off when ricky hit 140. I knew no batsman in world could hit McGrath, Lee or Bracken. They are best pace bowlers of that era i have seen

Only 90s kids know the pain of this match.... I am 28 right know and can still feel the pain of this match...... Australians completely decimated us....

Team India perform outstanding in 2003 . I was also disappointed after India loos. Sachin always the best ever in the world. Lots of love from Pakistan.
Still remember that match, Ponting led his team to a massive 359/2 which resulted in a huge loss for India. I felt really bad when Sachin got out in the very first over. Sachin scored 673 runs in that tournament which is yet to be broken by any batsman in ODI World Cup history...
@Real Napster Australia got lucky? I clearly remember this WC as I had followed it. India only lost one match before and it was with Australia. Australia was the best team in this WC followed by India. McGrath, Ponting was on fire 🔥 I was only 10 and so heart broken when SRT got out. He was performing so well in all matches but choked in this one 😭
In New Zealand, we are organising “T4 TapeBall League” : unique setup that mimics close / thrilling matches where 50 odd runs needed in just 18 balls with only 3 wickets in hand isn’t it crazy 😜 *only TapeBall League that is played anywhere in the world* ( comprising 100+ Matches over 3 to 4 months )
@@bhaweshthapa4672 Sorry bro, I don't think the Aussies were lucky by any means in that match. They were the most deserving team to win a world title in that decade if you remember. There is no doubt Sachin was the best batter then, but as a team, no one could actually match the might of Australia. They had both the best batting lineup with Hayden, Gilchrist, Ponting, Martin, Bevan, and Symonds as well as bowling lineup with Glenn Mcgrath, Gillespie, Bret Lee, and Andy Bichel. They won three consecutive world cups in 1999, 2003 and 2007 which make them the best ODI team ever in cricket history.
I am in class seven in 2003. Only 5 ball of indian innings i watched. Tendulkar out, shut down the TV set and go to bed.. difficult night of my life at the age of 13. This is the emotion. Sachin is the reason of watching cricket for me..
if sehwag stayed, we would have won wc 2003. if Rohit stayed more, we would have been 300+ winning score. this time team is more stronger, Virat, Rahul, Gill, Shreyas all were in form except SKY, none stayed long. Batting failure. Bowlers were really good for this situation.
In the entire 2003 World Cup Sehwag played well only in finals failed to score runs even against small teams like Holland,Zimbabwe Namibia, Kenya - Don't overrate the players who were performing well only in finals .
I never ever forget on 2003 WC Final Match, because that moment is very deeply ingrained in my childhood mind. Till now my life best one of the heroes is Bengal tiger Dada. My memories are still of those wonderful days when Dada played.
I was in 3rd... switch off the TV after Sachin gone, then after 20mints turned on the TV and I can watch the sixs and fours flying to the boundary by Virendar Sehwag, after this match I release that we can only replace Sachin with Sehwag.

Brought back the memories.... Australia n India were at there best during the tournament... Sachin Ponting, Lee, macrath, Hayden, Gilchrist, zaheer , dravid, viru, kaif really a divine period of cricket
See Guys it was a most heartbreaking match that ever we got to see in that era of our life. But you all just focuss little bit at one situation when both sehwag and ganguly start attacking australian bowlers after sachin got out, they bothwere able to maintain the average run rate of 6-7 an over. Till 9th over Indias score was 58 -1.which was sufficient at that point if dada wont get out in a similar fashion to hit the ball like sachin loose his wicket. Although it was an underpressure game especially against that mighty Australians. but it was a very good batting surface to chase that huge total of 360, which india definitely able to grab very easily if not loosing wickets at regular intervals. Sehwag was hitting the ball nicely but he was needing support from one end as dada especially able to do so like previously in natwest series final against england. So i think india would be on the winning side as south africa able to shown us 3 years later on by chasing 438 at the very same venue in 2006.
So much Nostalgia connected to this. Our childhood. I still remember many memories of the 2003 world cup. Chaminda Vaas getting 4 wickets in the opening over against Bangladesh, Sachin hitting six then Sehwag doing the same against Shoib Akhter, Inzamam Ul Haque scored only 19 in 6 matches, Sachin scored 674 runs in the tournament and became man of the tournament, failed to score well in the final match and got out at 4 being caught and bowled by Mc Grath, Ponting scored a century in the final, Sehwag made 82 and got run out because of Rahul Dravid. I was in 7th Grade, got 0 in Math 3 times. So many memories.
b.cus of Rahul dravid lol you fucking kid pls watch Highlights of that match.. sehwagh hurry to get a single n got out you blody shit dont blame rahul for that
If we think logically if Sachin has not scored consistently with 4 half centuries and 1century in 2003 World cup, India won't even qualify for 2003 WC finals.
Even Sehwag was also out early lucky it was no ball from bretlee , that's how Australian bowlers , batsmen and team dominated the tournament and lifted the world cup.
As a 10 year old, I wasn't too sad after this loss but i turned into a die hard cricket fan after this match as it was the first time i saw a full cricket match. :)
That moment when Sehwag was run out, I can still feel the pain even today. Had Sehwag carried on, it would have been one of the greatest WC finals. He was taking on every Aussie bowler that day. Full credit to the Australian team. They were unbeatable in that whole decade.
@@karunakalita8021dravid should've played at 4.kaif was a lower middle order batsman.he was probably sent to up the scoring rate.in hindsight we can only do ifs n buts
The whole world cup went well only as a team Under the DADA captancy but in Final match i felt even we won the toss but elected field first is very big mistake if Sachin stayed atleast 25 overs that would have been another memorial event in history of cricket but still 2003 worldcup is my favourite thanks to DADA and GOD❤

He was a good umpire in his early days but towards the end of his career, especially after 2003, his umpiring accuracy declined steeply. He should have retired by 2002-2003. But we all can agree, if it wasn't for him, we would never have got DRS. I believe DRS was introduced because of his umpiring 😅😅😂
Not many people remember Saurav ganguly said we all where disappointed with our bowling performance on the ground when we all came in and discussing sehwag was the only guy who looked chill he went out there and was playing a furious innings he was even told to play with little aggression but still he didn't care any less, he played his natural innings and did what best he could!
we played really well . Got a good score against that Aussie team . They all were monsters under Ricky's captaincy . Hate them . But they are legends .
India team km khatarnaak thi kya bhai us time 360 run 50 over me bhot bdi baat h banana ajj bhi or us vakt bhi vo bhi wc final me koi bhi team hoti to uska bhi yhi haal hota
We could have won. We lacked maturity and patience. If we had wickets in hand and didnt panic at the start, we could have actually won. We were a lot closer than we thought . Actually it wasnt an era of T-20 and big run chases. So a 350 target was a really big deal.
*When I was studying 10th std in 2003 this was happened. When india lost the final ,At that time my heart was broken, i cried a lot. That day was dark day for whole indians. Now am at 31 what a nice feel to recognize those days.*
2003 World Cup finals India vs Australia not Sachin vs Australia , Apart from Sachin 10 Players in Team,Sachin scored 6 half centuries and 1 century upto Semifinals - Main reason Why India qualified for 2003 World Cup finals.
Sachin was also a normal human being like who will do mistakes ,In 2003 World cup out of 11 matches India played Sachin played well in 8 matches with 6 half centuries and 1century , Why remaining 10 players in the team ?
Sachin was phenomenal in that wc and also in his career.... There was huge pressure in that match and Tendulkar just missed a trick but it happened to everyone.... Sachin was the best though
@@sheikhmuhammadahsen3211 if India had chosen to bat first, then Sachin would have played his natural game. But while chasing he took lot of pressure of the score on board.

Maine mere friends se pehle din hi kaha tha agar India iss bar WC nahi jeeta toh uski bajah Dhoni hoga...what a coincidence. If Dhoni hits some boundary or rotate strike fastly with jaddu then India will never loose this WC.I am Dhoni fan but usse bhi aage mein India ki fan hu.
Dhoni not played well.he were trying to avoid the loose the wicket. at least he should have to maintain single run instead of wasting balls. at last the match was very tight because of him.
Miss the golden time era and bad memories of this match after loose India final world Cup match 2003 from Australia I was crying that day when my expectations win from Australia and defeat them are coming down loose by India but India try their level best 🔥🔥i saw this match continue for whole day at my home tv with family and also at evening some of part at my playing ground where we all cricket fever lovers make big cinema project at our ground thousand was croud at our ground come and cheer up chasing side of India vs Australia .
