Bro this World Cup is Nuts. Somehow Australia, and South Korea go through while Japan and Morocco topped their groups. Also fun fact, no team actually got the 9/9 max points possible, meaning that all the teams have either a draw or a loss, and 2 don't even have wins.

You know, after Costa Rica lost to spain I felt so humiliated I didn’t want to watch th World Cup anymore, but nearly every game was so entertaining that I kept coming back for more, and then we won against Japan and I felt even happier, and then we fought valiantly against Germany even though we certainly were one of the worst teams in the whole cup. This World Cup is already my second favorite (2014 will never be dethroned for obvious reasons.)

As some said here, this was the group stage of surprises. Who thought Uruguay, Belgium, Denmark, and Germany would be eliminated early. Plus, Australia, Marroco, USA, South Korea, Senegal as well as Japan were the revelation in this phase which still that fact amazes me. Also, Richarlison and Salem's goals are still the top-notch of this WC. I can't wait to see the knockouts. This's gonna be a blast.

Suarez turning back the clock through pure hatred, Japan's epic comebacks and my country Morocco topping the supposed group of death are my highlights of this group stage.

As a German, I want to be angry with Spain, but since we could not win against Japan either, it is probably fair. Plus our defense was pretty horrible. The lack of class defenders is nothing new. Kind of crazy when I think of my youth when we had awesome defenders and strikers, but the middle was kind of wonky and now it is the complete opposite.

As a USian, i always have to find a team thats not the US to support bc i know we'll go out early. As a Latina, I always have my backup picks of Brazil followed by Spain and Argentina. But... hello Japan~ Also massive shoutout to South Korea for the second World Cup running. I'm not just a Latina, I'm Chicana, so even before Brazil, I have Mexico (and yes I do go blind and deaf whenever US and Mexican fans try to kill each other), so that 2018 business was incredible. And 2010 was the first World Cup I really remember (apart from the 2006 final) and I've had a deep and abiding hatred of Uruguay, Luiz Suarez in particular ever since. So in my eyes, South Korea's really doing God's work out there
