Great Beatles WC Last night, Andrew. I guess even the legendary chicken, walked onAbbey Rd zebra crossing. Lol. One regret : if the boys disbanded a few years later and still did concerts : imagine doing the whole b side, live on stage 😮.... Happy Easter!

Enjoyed this very much on catch up, have a very ill Mrs C to look after at the moment so live videos are difficult currently. I would have found it very difficult to have been dispationate in the vote for Hard Day's Night. Mum & Dad took me and my older brother to see it at the Cinema it's a terrifically warm memory of my childhood which will always colour my view. I appreciate that musically it may not have competed but for my pleasure listening it probably comes out on top for non-musical reasons. Part of the difficulty of trying to rate music it is so attached to your soal objectivity is sometimes irrelevant, part of the joy.

Abbey Road, Rubber Soul, Revolver, even the White Album... All get respecr in the online comments I see on Beatle forums. I see Beatles For Sale is being reappraised and valued, and Let it Be, despite the recent focus on the sessions and releases, is shown little love. But A Hard Days Night. Relatively slept on. And barely a Beatles fan Ive encounteres has said Pepper, despite its fame and impact, and of course, music. And never, never mentioned. Oldies but Goldies. An official album released during the bands lifetime Also, love to Brian Wilson. If you are going to check out the documentary you might be interested in Syd Barrett doc on Sky Arts later this month. Have You Got it Yet?

I never get how people say Abbey Road only has one good side. I always say, the second side is the best side ever..except the first side. I mean Come Together is the perfect classic rock song, up at the best and very popular, Something was called the most beatiful love song, probably George's best song, Oh! Darling maybe Pauls best vocals every, Octopus's Garden one of Ringos best and I Want You is out of this world. Maybe the musically best the Beatles ever sounded. And yeah Maxwells Silver Hammer, a good but not great song that is at least catchy and quite clever with moog sounds, but so isn't Polythene Pam and Mean Mr Mustard.

Hi Andrew you are correct pepper is no1 on every level..fans have burn out with it being heralded as being no1 Take the work between John and Paul on it.. Compared to on abbey road(it was Paul and George Martin on the medley) Fans who know their stuff like us know this LOL Ps the MEDLEY one of best things they EVER I’d and John dismissed LOL ✌️
