Evening folks! Episode 4/5 of the LA mini-series tonight, and it's time for the much anticipated gyoza contest...I hope you enjoy it AND DON'T FORGET TO JOIN ME FOR A BONUS VIDEO THIS TUESDAY AT 7PM; the fifth and final part of this particular mini-series! Thanks for your continued support and for all the kind words about the videos from this series. I can assure you they don't go unnoticed. NB: For the people asking why I haven't taken these events too seriously this year (doing food challenges the days before etc.)...Just remember, this is only my first year in Major League Eating. This first season is all about learning, having fun, getting some great content...Plenty of time to take things more seriously next year ;) Catch you at the next one!

I’m sure at this point, he’s heard this, but in order to become faster he’s going to have to get rid of the beard. As silly as it sounds it’s getting in the way and makes the motion of shoving the food in his mouth very messy and less fluid. But nice try regardless. 👍

Yeah. I like Matt but Joey has pushed the limits time and time again record after record, year after year. Matt, i feel like, didnt feel the need to push it as far as Joey does. Could be youtube. Could be something else. Could also be a health issue. At the end of every contest Joey wins, I feel a little worried. That can't be safe.

I’ve watched this contest for years. I watched Matt beat Joey that one year he was on fire. I am still amazed what they put away. Joeys capacity is mad but Matt has a wonderful attitude and is very likeable. Good luck at Smokes! 😘🇨🇦🇨🇦

People I don’t envy: 1. The chef that cooked all those dumplings 2. The judges who had to count up all the scraps at the end 3. The toilet cleaners in the hotel where you are all staying

You did great! My husband and I ordered our wedding cake from the little bakery there in Little Tokyo (we were married there and then moved to Yokohama, his hometown). note : Gyoza is not a delicacy here in Japan (it’s an everyday food).

Adam there also called pot stickers. I cook mine so there brown on all sides. Too hard for a food challenge, but really good for home cooking. You did a great job for not listening to the rules, lol. Love from California. Come back again.
