Welcome to another video folks, hope you're having a great week! Thanks for joining me for Smoke's World Poutine Eating Championships which took place last weekend in Yonge-Dundas Square, Toronto. I'm not even sorry about the title...I earned it...And I love having a giggle at critics in the comments ;) Thanks to everyone who came out to the contest to support, especially everyone on the front row! Thanks to everyone who hung around after to chat to me and get pictures etc. And thanks to everyone who sent me good look messages before the contest...It helps...Believe me. Solid rookie season for me...Hopefully I can climb the ranks in my second season with Major League Eating next year! As always let me know if you enjoy these contests in the comments. Its mental when I think back of starting to watch you roughly about 4 years ago and from going from just ploughing food into your gob to seeing how you did this year with the hot dog contest and this one etc. With also doing a food challenge the day before and going against guys like stonie and absolutely demolishing them. Well done sir. I was very impressed. That's about 15 and a half pounds more than I could have eaten, and I absolutely love poutine. I really appreciate the videos that you put out. Although I was never competitive, I used to be quite a big eater, myself. However, after a botched weight loss surgery and multiple subsequent surgeries to attempt to repair the damage done in the initial one, along with serious damage done to my body throughout covid, I can only eat a few bites and I'm done. I once had dreams and aspirations of being a world champion eating machine. The only way I could win an eating contest now would be if I found one in which the winner was the first to throw up the least amount of food the most quickly... I know. Yummy. Anyway, thank you for allowing me to live out my eating dreams vicariously through you. I follow several competitive eaters, but you are by far my favorite.
