Greatest Cypher of All Time! This was straight fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Glad I got to witness the 3 wisest kings of my generation. 💣💣💣 No other team will match what OCD did in there 3 cyphers! Best Team yet!!!!
Still listening in 2024 and still will be listening in 2025. This is one of those once in a life time moments. This is one of the few that will stand the test of time
Him and his dad had a rough relationship but he still loved his dad just hated what he became due to the fame if he truly hated him he wouldn't of made songs for or about him like that song with Cuban links was a straight about out to pun.
@Andrew Cox black people celebrating the skin they are in is not racist to those who don’t share the same skin. Me loving me doesn’t mean I hate you or devalue you .
True speach 318mobbin But RESPECT oswin and denzil Dope niggaz more amp kings of the underground cheers to listen to your gifts kings Chris rivers pun will be proud as f@%k keep reppin you a A lyrist of the new era peace kings
@@caseygray7061 agreed those two are monsters but I was meaning the fact that pun was an o.g to the game and to hear his son spit would make him happy..
Sean Quinn AKA BugzNation who said hip hop died? No one, people just talked said about mumble rap which technically isn’t hip hop. You bugging fam . No one said hip hop is dead. Kamikaze by em just got released. I could name 10 other albums too. Underground and mainstream. Hip hop ain’t dead bruh. You tripping. Probably Kodak black and shit
Mr. Altruistic The song was produced by and features will.i.am. The Black Eyed Pea explained to The Boombox in a 2012 interview that he and Nas weren't saying the genre of Hip-Hop was dead, rather they were, "talking about it from a business standpoint." He added: "I don't see a lot of artists raking it in from radio and sales off Hip-Hop."
Billy Baker when people say hip hop died they basically mean the mainstream aspect. Like the people who are on top are 69 pump kodak etc so yes hip hop is dead
Glorious S might want to read my comment again fammo. Lol. All good though, I agree to a degree mainstream isn’t completely dead. Look at the charts lol.
They put their soul and passion into this. This is real hip hop. Thank worldunderground for giving them a platform. I can't tolerate culture destroying mainstream hip hop.
Wtf that last round is amazing. It's a rare occasion when I can genuinely feel the emotions they're expressing. This is what music is all about in my opinion, expressing yourself and your experiences in the form of art. These guys are incredibly talented!
Probably the most powerful lyrical and personal performance I have ever witnessed on this channel. I commend these guys for the later half of this performance and being willing to get so real with a room of strangers. I could never bring myself to do something like that
it takes time brother, one day, maybe you might not care what other people think, and you realise that if you are 100 all the time, it weeds out the fakes and it attracts people to you.
When Oswin said “she took that life inside of me the day she got that abortion” I got a little teared up. After Denzil and Chris verses so much real shit then the emotion he said that with that’s straight passion. Best cypher of 2018 if not ever.
He layers his concepts so well. That's my favorite aspect of Oswin. All 3 of them are dope af and have different approaches and styles. I like how Chris isn't in his fathers shadow. He channels facets of pun like the flows but he adds to it and doesn't use the style the same way. Denzil has a unique presence and approach as well. They're like the LOX of today honestly...the closest thing to them (sorry for comparing different styles and burroghs)
Nobody did better then the other they were just all amazing. Those last 3 verses were insane. These guys are amazing rappers its a shame this talent is hidden while trash is what make you famous
That first beat that Porter had? Absolutely insane. I needed Oswin on that beat. Porter and Oswin are two of the most underappreciated cats in the game. Can go bar for bar with anyone alive.
First round oswin had me with that beat and his intensity and the second round was familiar, but i have to say oswin brought me to tears, mad love to everyone who supports this rare guys and the real hip hop, and have a healthy and successful 2019 ❤
How many MC’s actually have kids that are good,Every Father wants his son to be greater than him,Big PUN is a legend who didn’t get half of his just due,and I grew up when Pun was popping off, today I witnessed his son surpass him this is why hip hop is great
At the least, his energy and effort has matched his pops. And he’s still so unrecognized. And still keeps the hunger and passion Alive. That says so much for his true talent
Goospumps... Tears... Positive energy... These guys r so talented... Its almost they spoke about my struggles and everyone out there going through madness... This gave me some mad positive energy... I appreciate it
Oswin: "Truth hurts more when it is unadulterated The is type of child play is adult rated I've been in Emerald City too long to ever be jaded Doctor Robotnik with enough hard drive to back up any statement The wealth in my spirits' account could back up any statement So my soul on a tightrope, I could fuck around and find a new balance between checking niggas for energy worth saving, I've been amazing" daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn!!!!
"I went in raw, no intention on being awkward, She took that life inside of me, then she got that abortion... ...and the part that haunted me was the lost seed didn't belong to me was the offspring of a breed lighter than me, I was foreign... Momma said the devil's working" - OB 😭💔
ORIGINAL PEOPLE , YEAH WE WAS FIRST BUT THE SAME DAY WE WERE BORN BLACK THAT'S WHEN WE WERE CURSED. THE SYSTEM BLIND TO OUR HUNGER AND CAN'T SEE OUR THIRST JUDGING US ,CUS WE BE ON THE BLOCK AND THEY BE IN CHURCH. GOD CREATED US FROM NOTHING MAN WE WAS DIRT. GOTTA GET ON YOUR KNEES AND PRAY JUST TO SEE HIM WORK.
@@jaygeist8371 chill out man no matter how much money you make your still human and everybody got problems some worse in ways but everybody can relate to struggle my guy, so fr fr chill🙏🤘✌
I’m white and grew up poor as hell. Struggle is a universal language my guy. Been listening to hip hop for 28 years, because of the artistry in the music and how it eloquently articulated struggle.
@@jaygeist8371 hahahahaha....shit mad me laugh forreal... that's how life used to be, cutting on dudes with no crying about what's said. Real shit...respect
I had the luxury to be front & center to experience this work of art live....& have been anticipating the footage so I could share with my colleagues! #HipHop #OCD #RhymeSick #WRLDUNDGRND #NYC #KeepingTheCultureAlive
@A.P.561 for sure its such an incredible amount of hunger, talent, respect, BARS, positive energy, emotion, & love for Hip Hop & the culture to even begin to describe the feeling wouldn't suffice. It was my 3rd year in a row being involved with TBP/WU & as long as Armani keeps throwing events i have no doubt in my mind I will be there supporting the movement, but above all doing what I love to do. Hip Hop. It has the ability to connect to every race color creed religion beliefs etc & whats even more beautiful about this craft I love is that it can literALLY change the world! Come check out World Underground this summer fam, guarantee you'll wish everyday was WU.
OH SHIITTTTT. Right when I think I've seeen them at their peak, they transcend it. Every moment was real and their delivery is A1. I could feel the raw emotions out of each one of them. These guys are peerless. I cant wait to see them reach their rightful place!!
Passionate, soulful, lyrically-dense and unapologetically authentic . This is Hip-Hop at its finest!! Salute to all 3 of these dope artists. Keep grindin.
still remember the first time i heard these guys on team backpack.. it was mind blowing. i have to listen to oswin bars multiple times before catching everything he says. denzil has amazing delivery on top of creativity you never expect to witness during a live cypher. chris is right up there with it all, but you can always feel the emotions he is expressing whether you want to or not. the chemistry the 3 have is legendary and should be a reminder to every hip hop fan that the genre is very much so alive, just gotta dig a little bit under the surface & you are bound to find something you'll treasure. much love much respect
These bars were all basic though. Chris’s bars were more complex than ben . Fire ass cyber though. Denzil has a nice flow. I wish he picked a different beat so he could spit fast more. You could tell they rehearsed this one . 🔥
Don't care what anyone says, this is the best team cypher of world underground (imo). These 3 dudes have chemistry and energy that is unparalleled. Nothing felt like it was forced.
Almost nothing literally has ever mad me comment on RU-vid and I've followed team backpack as well as a lot of others. This is the best video online right now, the realest, truest most innocent talking between people. Would love to be apart of this someday. Words have meanings for a reason.
@9:39 The pure connection he had to what he was saying and how his emotions were stirring up so much that he had to stand. As if it was physically impossible to continue pouring out his soul while remaining seated. The music controlled that moment. And in that moment true artistry was shown. Much respect D.
"My goodness ladies and gentlemen." Y'all should see my expressions. Wish I was there live fr fr. That first round Denzil had me doing my signature shoulder roll whole time. That shot at Passionate MC hehe. I see you but that's hip-hop. Chris BLACKED out the way he described the haters. Oswin was right there with him loved his build ups. That second round though... I knew it was going down when these lively MCs had to freaking sit down. DAMN. I got no words. All that was needed has been said. Send off was so good I almost cried. Love these brothers. In honor of my guy TrapNerd passing these comment breakdowns to me I bid y'all ado. The next time you'll see me I'll be writing for World Underground. #loveyall "...put some respek on my name." - Birdman/Oswin Benjamin
WRLDUNDGND OCD fucking performs! Like the second cypher where at the middle they started battling each other, and now this one where they sit down and rap fire as if it’s that’s how regular people talk to each other. Fucking great OCD!
