Fun fact, kayle in league starts off with no range, at level 6 she gets ranges autos(lvl 1 kayle empowered) at level 11 her attacks can ramp up and are eventually AoE(lvl2 requirement) and at level 16 she no longer has to ramp up, she just straight up has ranged AoE autos(lvl2 empowered)
As a league player I always love to see how they implement champion mechanics in the game. And kayle has got to be by far the best implementation of league mechanics into runeterra. the levels perfectly translate into damage. For an example of a bad implementation, they did a terrible job with vayne. They went for the lore angle but it doesnt even make sense, how is she making her teammates tumble and putting a bone club in their hands? Is she tripping them up and pushing them? Anyway I'm really excited to play noxus targon aggro with kayle. vision and the arena announcer are gonna buff kayle so fast, eepecially because targon has strong aggro discard card maybe you can wvwn play draven? but zoe is probably better with kayle.
@@xavmarz755 It make sense for vayne about the equipment stuff. Since her ult literally equip her with a different weapon. And she use the tumble to initiate fight against enemies hence the free attack. Using it on your ally is basically an added bonus so that she can work in a card game
@@gmoburrito6090 Because it make sense to her characters. She used multiple weapons both in the MOBA game and in the lore. Also senna, illaoi and poppy doesn't focus on equipment, either. So you probally need to revisit your opinion, lol
Cool idea. But I think the best to pair with Xolaani is sand soldiers. There are many way to give sand soldiers +1 attack so easy to lv her up and sand soldiers also free for her to transform.
@@TheSantiagoShow Snap is just so fast. I honestly would be fine if the timer was even faster. But that's a huge appeal. While more RNG based, Snap just gets going a lot faster.
Wait. That 6 mana summon icathian mirage and equip them is kinda good if you play Aatrox with Demacia. Imagine on turn 3 you summon 2 units with darkin equipment on them, then attack. And also imagine when you play world ender...
So many people are forgetting that Spirits Unleashed exists. Getting to Empowered with Kayle units or just buffing Kayle is ridiculously easy. Those cards are gonna be nuts
Everybody saw that lawkeeper is like a messed up holy turkey, fitting for Thankgiving. But who else saw that he really is a Despicable Me Minion with majestic wings
I quit playing LoR after the Targon expansion because I'm deadass bad at the game and I have a hard time piloting decks, but I still watch every LoR content you put out over the years and I'm really excited with this new expansion. I love the hours of control deck content, I hope to see the ultimate Ryze deck soon!
@@SuperLotus I wasn't much fan of pre-made decks, that's why I didn't play much of the expedition too. I'm much of a competitive person and I don't enjoy playing PvE
if you get to play them before release you should try a deck with aatrox and like nasus or renekton, if it works like im thinking if you do the darkin wep on an already leveled up nasus or renekton they "should" go ascended.
Empowered could also easily play off of Weapon Master units. Honestly Kayle looks like she'll be good in a wide variety of decks, cause you can't really go wrong with buff things go wide, and can easily pair with any unit focused archetype, which is most of the game. Full aggro or disposable token decks maybe not so much.
30:30 Yo, is there any reason as to why there's blood on Vlad's lips? I mean, he's not a vampire, he's just a chemomancer. Unless his lore states that he's basically a vampire without being an actual vampire? (or has a vamp fetish lmao)
Wait he doesn’t KNOWWW. Kayle’s effect isn’t a single trigger once per attack. It buffs her for every single minion that attacks that is buffed. Including HERSELF
Black flame should be 4 mana or more imo, too strong for 2 mana, it can be like 2 mana summon deathless knight every round, which is a 6/6 with no ephemeral, its only once each round but still, 2 mana 6/6 every round
Some of those empowered units look really good, especially the elusive, but it's so good to know that Empowered is an aura, so Frostbite and other attack-reducing effects can remove their keywords during combat.
i can see the combo with kalista and dancers from gwen with the deathless knight depends on if one diedbut you can probably flood the board with these and since they get 1/1 instead of ephemerial they stay a while and listen
what about lruk or hallowed with void gate? you can put cards into youre deck that arent of those types but can work great with them with lurk you can increase the number of lurkers and get the effect off alot more hallowed youlc be fun since you spam the ephemerals who trigger this effect twice each so technically you dont need many of them to spam the entire deck full of it also double attack could be fun with the yordle dude that costs nothing you cna spread double atttack also hard
I have no idea why Crimson Pidgeon is a 1 mana 2/2 with support: grant +1/+0 but if power creep makes Vlad have Tier 1 decks before he gets rotated out of the game, then I'm all for it.
holy shit this expansion looks AMAZING!!!. The only problem is I have no green shards nor champs, epic, or even rare wild cards. I'm totally broke :'( if anyone knows a good way to earn wild cards or green shards other than playing 70 hours a week grinding for the vault, please help me out. note: I already finished all the regional rewards.
I was really hyped for aatrox, still am but damn Ryze is brutally innovative and fun, first good origin in a while, aatrox's one too but this one is better, hopefully Ryze doesn't suck tho
I usually just "listen" to grapp via headphones and just look from time to time when he makes plays But jfc when I heard "Baalkux" i had to rewind what he was referring to 🤣
I wonder how The Black Flame would combine with Katarina. You attack, you summon her and get rally. I think her "strike: recall" procs before ephemeral does, so you could get her into hand, summon and rally again. If i am correct in that, then that's easily 3 potential attacks in one turn (and more if you have enough mana) if you had the units to sustain it. Might be decent with elusive decks, maybe?
I've been waiting for these! I really liked the last major update but like GrappLr, I got burned out quickly (can't imagine how it'd be for a content creator). These cards seem like they add in a lot of interesting new options. Excited to check it out!
