Classic Horse Racing Comedy Johnny Carson interviews Jockey Lyle Dorf (Tim Conway) If you love thoroughbred horse racing... UpInClass Horse Racing Forum upinclass.probo...
Tim Conway loved the races. He produced a skit like this, where he's a jockey. He did it with the jockeys as his audience, they were rolling on the floor. He made fun of all the jocks and they loved it. What a talent.
Jim Tait It was TV, of course there were no “bad words”! You had to go to Vegas to hear adult language. My parents saw Red Skeleton in Vegas in the 60’s and even he had a “blue act”!
Back when late night hosts didn't cater to the leftist hypocrites. They probably all were leftist BUT didn't let that stop them from making fun of everyone. Now the leftist late night hosts kiss the democrat politicians asses and only make fun of Republicans. Not funny when you're afraid to make fun of yourself or like minded people. They all 3 are spineless. Need someone like NORM hosting one of these shows
I laughed hard all the way through this, but when Dorf stands up at the end after the situps, I was crying! This is comedy gold. Rest in peace, Mr. Conway. The tears of laughter will be missed.
I found Tim Conway and the rest of the Carol Burnett gang in the mid 80s when I wasn't even 10 years old. 32 years later and they still crack me up. Rest in peace Timmy and make ol' Harvey pee his pants again for us will ya?
You found comic gold! I'm a tad older and would watch the shows with my grandmother and laugh so hard I almost peed! Lol. Find the episode of As the Stomach where Tim is the insurance agent inside the barn painting!
Comedy at its very best they don't have any comedians left propaganda agents like Jimmey Kimmel Stephen half ear Colbert etc. Johnny Carson, Tim Conway were real comedians.
I am 40 years old and live in Sweden. I am glad there are people who post these videos on youtube so I can enjoy them too. Many outtakes are so hilarious funny
I loved Robin Williams, Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Flip Wilson. Not sure any of them were funnier than Tim Conway. I know that's maybe controversial to say, but say it I will.
Tim Conway an absolute comic genius he often had me pissing with laughter on the Carol Burnett Show along with the rest of the stellar cast on that show.
Take your pedestrian politics elsewhere. It's an offence to the eye and mind. You conservative yanks are so sick...yes...take your hatred elsewhere freak.
I have always been impressed with Tim's agility and dexterity but but never as much as in this skit. I wonder how hard it was for Johnny Carson to not completely fall apart when he did the sit ups!
He did love the races, I called him one time to advise him his horse racing wagering account was on and good to go, I only got his vm I'm sure he screened his calls, this was around 15 years ago, he never used the account as I recall. He spoke with one of my reps who helped him set it up, possibly one of the nicest and most congenital men to speak to one of my staff members ever The customer service rep was young and had no idea who he was lol. Comedic genius
The greatest comedy team was Tim Conway and Harvey korman, and it wasn't so much the content of the routines but the look on their faces when they were trying not to crack up or crack each other up! Those really were great times and I sure miss those days!
Brilliant and classic Tim Conway!!! He had timing and adlib comedy sketches that broke up Carol Burnett and her incredible team in laughter frequently. The comedy was fresh and without putting-down any person or group; a treat to be savored.
Say what you will about sketch comedians, but Tim Conway was the absolute best. Sure, Robin Williams and Jonathan Winters could make you laugh but Tim Conway could have you rolling in the floor with laughter. He was that good and he will definitely be missed.
Well now we have young kids recording themselves doing the same 'joke' over and over and over and over again so that a RU-vidr can make a 10 minute video of that same joke performed in 135 cringeworthy ways.
I actually rememb er seeing this skit...life was so simple, many times, Carson would get Ed McMahon laughing so hard, he'd look like he was going to burst. Where has America gone?
Does anyone have a copy of the bit where Tim Conway was a retiring football player and his son did the voice of his "echo"? I remember most of it, but I'd love to see it again.
anonygent I'm a lifelong Tim Conway fan & now my little girl loves him too. Her favorite skit is from The Carol Burnett Show where veterinarian Lyle Waggoner accidentally jabs Tim with an injection. Tim's performance is fabulous in that & as usual, he has poor Harvey Corman stifling giggles. Anyhoo, here's a link to the video you requested: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ktd0a1L6d84.html Incidentally, our beloved Tim lives in an advanced care facility because he's suffering from advanced dementia. A legal battle has recently erupted between Tim's daughter Kelly & his current wife. Kelly alleges the facility to which the wife wants to move him is inadequate. I don't know whether the judge has yet ruled.
Not sure if that could be done today. Insults Little People of America. SNL might get away with it if they are doing a parody of a little person fictitious character- harry potterish..but not a real little person.
Why not make sure that you are truly saved by Jesus Christ and practice this way. Remorsefully confess with your heart your sins to Jesus Christ who is God and tell Him that you right now are repenting of your sins and you want to be born again of the Spirit from above. Tell Jesus that you are remorsefully sorry for breaking His commandments and that you are begging for forgiveness from Him. Allow His blood from the cross to wash away your sins. After this is done with your heart successfully the Holy Spirit will come to live within you and He will rebuild you from the inside out. Look for signs that you are saved. Things like spreading the good news from Jesus, getting other people saved, a craving for the word of God, reading the Bible, etc… These things are known as a calling and fruit bearing. If you're not bearing fruit then keep doing it. Sometimes it takes time to get saved. Read Matthew chapter 13 from the King James Bible. God bless!!!!!!!!
