can we just have 10 man parties but theres only 2 in one game so in one doorway you have like 7 hydras 4 sancturaries 4 mending groves and the melees holding on to dear life
Great Vid - would love it if you made a guide. The guides so far really just cover broad mechanics/ phases and show the attack types but I'm looking for more depth that you seem to know. For example I see your bard not jumping and just looking away and down for the charges which I assume helps to not get knocked as far if he gets hit. You also mentioned being able to shield some attacks but not others which is big.
they dont have to nef boss mechanics they should just reduce the wyverns max health to where its feasible to do with time to loot and mine by a 3 man, good shit bro 😎
Is it possible to take no or less damage? Barb with shield seems slightly massively terrible for this, but I wouldn't know; I don't play the game. I feel like this should be a meta of warlocks and rangers tbh
Once you have learned it inside and out i believe its possible damageless, so could sub other classes. Barbarians and clerics just allow for mistakes while we learn how to dps properly. Oh also theres iron will perk on the barbarian which prevents knockback. If you get hit by the boss without it you get knocked off the arena into the void edit - The boss has innate magic reduction, as well as projectile reduction. We have tried teams with warlock(s) and ranger(s) but couldn't make it work in smaller teams
Wyvern has a heavy attack that hits twice (aoe and direct), the shield blocks one of them. It also helps me get closer to max pdr. I am 65% reduction in this kit
Unfortunately the attacks the wyvern does have very small give-aways and animation startups meaning if you want to damage it enough as a 4 man you will guarantee take damage
3 man next. Big fkn ups to the boys, kips and Monsty. Didn't know the 4th. He sucks tho HAHAHAH Yo na jj, oi good shit on this bro, keep up the crazy content
It unfortunately requires a minimum of four people to activate the pillars to awaken the Frost Wyvern. I suppose if you had someone come, activate, and then promptly leave it could be done.
The ore in the boss room sell for 1,500 each! So it’s still a lot of money regardless of the dragon drop. But it can drop viola is we get really lucky. Which can go for up to 300k+
I love this stupid design of bosses jumping into the sun so you cant hit them at all, what a cool mechanic, look how fast it is, shame your character is half-disabled
Yeah seems silly that the boss needs 4 people… when you can only queue as 3? It’s like you designed a boss that most people will never even get the chance to try. The odds of you finding someone in the abyss being both friendly enough and willing to fight the boss are extremely low. You could play 10 matches and never even get a chance to attempt it. At this point it feels like a streamer exclusive boss almost since most people can’t get enough players to try it. And trying to queue in with your buddies in the same match literally goes against their teaming/queue sniping TOS. So what is ironmace trying to do here? Seems like they didn’t think it through very throughly.
Imo they are trying to combat the problem - well, in my opinion, it's a problem, some people like it - that all extraction games have, which is kill-on-sight. Organic teaming is much more interesting imo and I think it's something Ironmace wants to encourage. Personally I really like this, but I know lots of people view the point of extraction games as PvP. I deeply disagree and thing teaming up in-raid is the most fun part of extraction games, but.
yeah The only thing bannable is the pre-meditating teaming (generally by one particular country) who utilizes low-pop servers to queue together. The planning before joining a game is the rule breaking part. Ironmace has already addressed casual teaming in a dungeon, is not bannable. - u guys were on discord whole time, sent to ironmace :]
I understand your concerns, however pre meditated teaming has been allowed for ice abyss, as shown in community announcements. Thanks for taking the time to write your comment
