Thanks for the reaction, great video! I make some mistakes in the run, like triggering P2 about a minute early. Usually I would sit at 10g, only clearing whelps to delay P2 more. From what I know, Onyxia gains Armor in P3(and also Resist in P2) meaning Murlocs do 50% less damage then. Combined with the increased income per phase, it's really difficult to clear Wardens and have time to kill during Phase 3. So it evolved into this after a month of daily experiments and attempts lol.
I am surprized the fixed the tip of the spear talent works now on Old Murk-Eye. Great... now I have to level up Old Murk-Eye instead of Drakkisath or Rend 🙄
Let's GOooOop and fk that I hate ol murk eye deck that last push was so awesome. I can only imagine how many times he failed at the last second of that fight!!
How you can force to pop up murlocs close to Murky? I'm playing it with the same talents but the murlocs spawn at my base in different lanes, even if I use Murky in the second towel, most of the units spawn in base.
What do you do if you don't have Murkeye in your starting hand? What if he's the 3rd minion in your queue and you have to cycle to get him? I mean this strategy ONLY works if you have him ready at the start. Is there a way arrange your starting hand?

I've been furiously leveling the Rend deck F2P to beat Onyxia. I only need to finish Meatwagon and Drake to level 24 to have the deck ready. I'm like 1-2 days away.😢 Does it not work anymore? Do I need to switch strategy to this? It will put me months behind.😢
Rend works, buts it's painful. 1 mistake will wipe you. You always need to be on you're toes, and even then you loose to RNG 95% of the time. I'm Avg lvl 27. 1 mistake with a drake or a necromancer (like missing a quilboar) or even letting a miner sneak by will wipe you as they will snowball and kill all towers. Also P3 is a zerg phase where you push to kill boss with rend now because it's impossible to control the map in p3 with rend now. All other strategies I see are just abusing the games mechanics and zerging boss with Murkeye or drakisath. Unfortunately I'm on the same boat as you where I farmed all the minis for rend vs onyxia deck to epic so now I'm committed to finishing what I started. 😅 good news for me though is that this is my end game till raids, because I don't really care for pvp
I assume you made a mistake with the panel on the right. Murkeye talent + level dont match. Not sure if you mentioned it in the video since my audio is busted atm.
I'm assuming he doesn't use cheat death because it screws up the entire rhythm of ol murk eye. he knows he has figured out onyxia to the point where he can 100% easily defend and damage onyxia by constantly spamming ol murk eye, if he uses cheat death he will do a few percentage more damage but his towers will begin to be over ran.
that's the 'tip of the spear' he mentions. It's an Old Murk Eye talent that makes the murlocs spawn on him instead of at the tower. In most situations, not that useful. In this rather crux to the whole plan.
