Absolutely agree - Price hasn't been in good form lately and he really didn't play well in his first round match, and Wade isn't the sort of player you'd think is going to have problems getting started in legs. Wade seems to be on the up again and I think it's only a matter of time before we see him get a win somewhere, and I feel like this tournament format plays to his strengths. Stop writing him off!

I think even though Rob Cross hasn’t done well at this tournament, he got through against Littler and I think now a deep run could be in the cards for him.

There are many reasons why this tournament is my favorite of the year given the set format and the dynamics the double-start format brings to the table. But given the short format, it's my feeling that any kind of a random draw isn't fair to the higher-ranked players. Of course, that doesn't mean upsets a plenty aren't going to happen, but Luke Humphries should be playing the weakest player in the field for a 1st round match, and so forth. The other thing I think is a concern is I don't like majors ending in 3-2 in deciding sets, but I also understand that having a full-blown tiebreaker with a 11-leg maximum set is highly impractical. I would like to see a seven-leg maximum deciding set with a sudden-death leg in the deciding set goes 3-3, especially if you are not going to change how the draw is done.

Here's a question that came to mind watching the darts yesterday - What happens if the player hits let's say, a double 20 to start, but then they hit 20 and 20 and the initial double 20 falls from the board? Is it no score and they have to hit a double again? Or do they just score 40 and continue?

If the darts falls out of the double 20 it's not counted and the player will have to throw a double again

I think De Deker will beat Gary. He keeps trying to convince everyone he doesn't care, and I think that lack of conviction is hurting him in latter stages of events. In a lot of games he looks the better player until he isn't. If he came out and said I'm going to win, only a fool would bet against him.

I think so too. Gary looked good until he was on a finishing double, looked shaky there. And De Decker was insane on the doubles against Heta.
