I've been a roofer for 40 years and I must admit although I found your video very interesting I do have a couple of questions! With the jet washer you would have to presume the head lap was sufficient because if not the consequences would be dire! But the most important question is were is the scaffolding! Many a good man has fallen and been severely injured or worse because the contractor wants to save a shilling or two 🤔
Perfectly fair point but you said it yourself to save money..or perhaps they just happy to work off a ladder like its always been done maybe the workers just don't mind I spose..also low level work on less steep roofs..I'm sure they do use scaffolding but alot places n people just happy to work the old way still..cheers
Wasting a lot of water Just put a big proper thickness of plastic cover sheet with any good looking design print or transparent also An make urs work more easy and cost saving also while cleaning or easily replacing .👍🏻 Enjoy
from 0 to 37 seconds very cheeky roof masters. They do not remove the protective foil at all, below which is the bitumen tape. which serves to seal bituminous shingles one after another...
I am curious how many broken tiles there were after all the WORK was done ? Tile rooves are very touchy about how they are walked on . Broken and clean vs weathered and intact !?
I don't call this technology it's just cheap roofing methods supplemented by glues and resin. There was a time when this was used to build a cheap garage roof only. But like all resin it's gets brittle dries out and finally lifts or splits. I would not go anywhere near it unless it was price. That is the entire point.
Natural slate is the best natural roof covering there is. Especially if you live in an area with cool damp wet climate like Ireland. Moss build up on concrete tiles here were I live turn into a carpet after ten years or so. Where as there virtually no moss build up or discolouration with a natural slate roof.therefore they are very low maintenance.

Man kann so was vergessen, oder man kann es ''vergessen'' um Zeit zu sparen. Die Überlappung der nächsten Reihe über der Nagellinie ist zudem ziemlich knapp, Nägel sind nicht dicht, auch nicht wirklich in Bitumen.
Mine was on 30 years. No felt paper. Even at the valley. Just 24” aluminum formed into one. I just replaced it myself. One roof leak saving grace was 9-12
The first in this video looked like my roof and material, a composite. Nine roofers knocked it out in one day from ripping off the old to installing the new. Only minor touch up the next day was needed by 1 worker. But what a barging, it only cost $22.5k. Did the company they work for scam me? (I live in Texas not California or New York). Any ideas how I could scam the roofing, HVAC, and similar industries back?
After a hurricane in Florida all the houses in one neighborhood lost their roofs, except for the 5 houses built by Habitat for Humanity which used nails to attach the roofing shingles.
My boss use to say "You're fired before you hit the ground ". Another boss did fall and broke his foot and ankle pretty good. It's a dangerous job and sadly for smaller businesses, safety isn't their primary concern.
No eye protection, no ear plugs, open toed shoes, hot tar roof in sandals and socks, no asperater, no safety ropes. Lotta accidents on these job sites, I would bet.
