Jingles I can tell you that the vk45.02A is not that bad man. You need to play it in a different style then a normal heavy. The vk45.02A Plays more like a medium. No really I mean it.........Are you done laughing........still going..........Your not going to stop laughing are you?........Jingles looks just get it and fully upgrade it and play it like a medium. You will do great in it. Play it like a heavy and you will get wreak everytime. I have gone through that grind and I didn't have FREE XP to throw at it. Yeah try playing it stock basically. But look jingles the vk45.02A has the same play style as the fcm 50t. Play it like a Over-sized Medium ok :)

The VKA doesn't have the armor to be a heavy, the mobility to be a light or a medium tank, the gun to be a TD or the top-down view to be a SPG. It just doesn't do anything well. I spent something like 50k-60k free exp on it. It was just a dreadful tank. But I love my VKB. I've completed HT-15 for the second and third sets with it without breaking a sweat.

It is a great medium killer. I actually have more steel walls in it than my tiger 2. Also when it is top tier, it armour isn't that bad angled.

Once I got it elited I really quite enjoyed the 45.02 A. Definitely a play style all of it's own and it doesn't preceed the shoe tank very well. It's somewhere in between a medium and heavy. Mobility is alright but has quite good armour that can bounce some shots. It's good at the pop out shoot and duck style as well, certainly better than most heavies.

Sir mightyjingles, i have the vk45.02B and i had to grind through the vk45.02shit. I love the vk45.02B and my advice is to free xp past the vk45.02shit. I have had several games in my vk45.02B where i blocked over 10k damage. I have also receive the reaper metal in it. My team was moving so fast i did 0 damage but capped the base 100% and was not spotted. But get the bk45.02B its well worth it.

i love how you say "vk 45.02shit" so funny considering i grinded through it. The way i did it was playing it as a mobile TD that can't pen anything unless you get the sides of enemies which basically means playing it as a sniper medium that's probably the size of 5 stories building and i agree with your advice

Roberto Villarey Jr. I had to play through it too, one of the worst grinds in the game it has no armor, gun sucks, aiming time is slow, gun cant pen shit, to slow to play as a scout, to big to play as a medium, turret turns to slow, get penned by everything. i was hardly ever was top tier and it took forever to grind to tier 9. So this is why i call it the vk45.02shit. One of the worst tanks in the game. So needless to say i HATE that PEICE OF SHIT!!!!!!!

i totally agree with that it took me half a year just to get to tier 9 and had to spent a lot of patience because i am one of those free-to-play people who rarely have a chance to have a gold. And yes, almost every downside of every tank in the game was combined in one tank just to troll people who want to get OP in tier 9

It's decent, it's only issue is that it's preceeded by the P-Tiger, and followed up by...that thing. It's about to change, though. The line's gonna get reworked, and the VK 45s split off into a 'softer' line.

I very much love my 45.02A. It has a permanent spot in my garage. I have more steel walls, Top Guns, win rate, and overall kills in it than I do in my T-32, KV-4, or Tiger II. I've sold the others, but the 45.02A will always have a spot in my garage.

I think it's the very first time I have to say out loudly that Jingles is wrong: the vk4502a is AWESOME, has HT armor with MT mobility and a TD gun....what is to dislike in this tank? Andany tank can be good in the right hands, the fact that you think is a turd it's your own opinion, jingles. The tank isnt bad.

Not really HT armor, but like 60% HT armor, with an amazing gun. Snipe with it and support your meds with it. And you'll be shitting on tomatoes in no time.

Its pretty sub par TBH, under 15 HPT and less than 2k DPM, but its armor is supposedly going to get a major workover when it gets it's HD model next patch. Also, Amazing gun? It has 200 Pen and 35 dispersion...

About the VK 45.02 B and whats most sattisfying, you let 2 things out: First, sitting in Himmelsdorf or on any other corner where you can hide your commanders cupola behind a building and only let your gun peek around the corner, and second: Driving this thing BACKWARDS towards meds who dont know the VK, drive around you to what they think is your back, and shooting your front... Thats fun. And it happens more often than you might think.

IMHO if you just drive it more as medium you can have quite ok games with it. There are much worse tanks to grind through IMHO. I actually enjoyed the tank. The hp/t is quite good and compareable to mediums. The gun lacks a bit of penetration but in combination with the flanking ability and someone who knows where to shoot (and of course some mercy from RNGESUS) it can be quite good. It isn't superb fast with 38 km/h but usually that is enough to get to where you need to in time. And the armour is quite ok if we use it more as a medium.

Altough physics were introduced to game, u can still run circles around heavies and most of meds with LTTB, RU and WZ lights. Those wont turn over their bellies. And it is the most satisfying thing to run around and around big T10 heavy with WZ132 when u can pen almost all of your shots.

Thanks for the video Jingles, Currently doing the grind for the VK's ...... not that i'm complaining...... but WOW you have some reasonable points to be made about the VK45.02A. I find i'm playing it like a medium, or a scout at times. Avoiding other heavies, but have had a lot of fun in some games.... when i don't get shot at. Seeing the last clip in this video gives me strength to carry on!!!

I think you need to man up Jingles and play the 4502A. If it helps think of it as a heavy medium tank and play it similar to the T1 and M6 - good mobility, decent gun but medium armor.

Your giving WAY to much credit to the armor levels of the T1 and M6, I would know seeing as I have almost 1k games in my M6 and it's armor may as well be paper. Hands down the tier 6 heavy most in need of some major buffs to dig it out of the grave Powercreep tossed it into almost 3 years back.

the vk has better horsepower ratio then tiger2. ..were as tiger2 has same top sleed, same traverse better ground resistances....vk is no medium heavy

The armor is great when you sit at the back of a slope and wiggle up and down. Everything will bounce. Then you move up and shoot.

VK 45.02 B's gun port on the front of the hull is a weakspot.It's 200 mm thick,sure. But it's not angled if you hit the flat part of it,meaning that most tier 8-9's can pen it reliably there. You can also just dab the 2 key and wreck the this thing in the front of the turret,because aiming is for noobs.

RE: Oblivious artillery, they may not be as oblivious as you think. When i still played WoT I played mostly artillery and I came to realize that there was no way I was going to be able to take out a determined light tank. I generally felt that i could do more for my team by getting one more well aimed shot off at the enemy than thrashing around trying to shoot a light who was going to inevitably kill me anyway. YMMV of course.

I have recently unlocked the 4502B and it is a beast. But you are right the grind preceding it almost put me off going for it. However now that I have it I can say the grind to the Maus will be no sweat.

Im not much of a fan of the vk4502a either, but it is a pretty solid medium tank bully. It has enough armor when angled to fend off all but higher tier med guns, it has the mobility to protect itself and chase down meds, and it has a decent gun with a nice punch. It also sidescrapes pretty well.

nah when you first unlock the tier9 Vk after grinding the tier8 its as if you've been given a gift from God ,its as if you've been hungover and all of a sudden your head is clear.....its like being really thirsty then all of sudden popping into a convenience store and getting a slushy with a big gulp....its like the patronus charm against dementors. Even the use of the top 105mm is a death stick with the VK...kinda like the lowe...it doesn't matter that the dpm is low when the enemy's dpm is negated by your armor. face hugging an IS-7 is so beautiful i would marry the tier9 VK and also Maus cause with the vk you have to actively point your front at the enemy so you actually have to try...with maus you don't even try to block armor it just happens

The VK45.02A is not as bad as I thought. I find it plays a lot like the tier 7 heavy the AMX M4 1945, and I like that M4 quite a bit. They are support tanks that are fast and play a lot like medium tanks. If your a decent player you should be fine with the VK45.02A. Try it you might like it.

Having ground through this line, I have to say that I liked my 4502B so much that I kept it even after I got the Maus (which I do not like). It is a blast to play, even in a bad game. You are correct, the 4502A really sucks and I was questioning my sanity as I ground through that one. Loved the MT25 replay and you are absolutely correct, too many players get tunnel vision and do not pay attention to anything besides what is in front of them.

the real problem with the 4502a is that it's a lightly armored mobile heavy in between two heavily armored brawling heavies, it's only made worse by how op the is3 is, which doesn't feel op when you're getting dumped on by tier 10 heavies

The "45.02 A" isn't that bad if you view it as a slow medium tank rather then a heavy tank,I would say the B is definitely worth the grind.Besides, you could always use that service you spoke so "highly" about yesterday.

They should make weakspots in favour of calibre of shells that shoot them. For example, that VK in last rep, if you would shoot that drivers hatch with low callibre gun, it should have a chance of going through the gap between armor around the hatch

I unlocked and played through the VK 4502(B) in the ancient times before the E-75. Believe me when I say it was a mage-turd. At the time the tank was very much a stepping stone to the Maus. Let's face it everyone wanted a Maus. Those days are very much long gone.

a long time ago, when the only medium worth mentioning was the T54, the Vk 4502 Ausf A was ok, if you played it as a "heavy medium", lol just follow the medium wolf pack and provide some punch here and there, and clean up kills lol

Another thing with the 2cm turret, due to its clip size of 8 not 10, it reloads in just over 15 seconds. And imagine what that 57mm gun is like on a tier 4.....

4502b only has 150mm of armor on lower glacias on blitz, tank is a joke on mobile, maus is also a joke on blitz, stupid medium gold spam makes them unplayable.

Jingles... the VKB can be easily penned in the machine gun port - as long as you hit the flat bit. Top gun on a Tiger II will go through it like butter. i rebought this thing a couple months ago and i had a game the week i got it back where i just decided im gonna test the armor so went to a flank almost totally alone pointed the front of my tank at the enemies with the side at an autobounce angle and just drove forward slowly. i stopped firing my gun after the 1st minute just to see how much damage 7 enemy tanks could shootin my front. lets just say i finished that game with over 13k blocked. if i can find the replay ill probably use it in my review of this thing.

Jingles in next mini patch theres VK45.02A armour buff at front to 150mm.I think you should give it a try. And by the way this tank is sort of large medium tank mobility so now its a pretty good tank that have armour gun and mobility. come on give it a try

jingles doesnt want to go through the vk 4502a? jingles you love the centurions so you would love that tank. think of it like this its got the same speed as a cent it sacrafices 4 degrees of gun dep for an extra 90 damage per shot with a 2.3s aim time and significantly stronger armor everywhere including the turret than the cent 1 and armor that id say is better than the cent 7/1s. the vka is criminally under rated its a far more powerful tank than people realise.

The grind through the vk 4502a is terrible at best and is a massive terd. But the VK 4502 B is awsome. I have blocked 7850 damage in mine and it is wonderful to watch a T57 heavy bounce a full clip of HEAT in to your angled upper glacier.

VK.45.02A was pretty OK. And apparently SirFoch felt it was OK too. And I just love my VK.45.02B. :D City maps is where it's at. I'm hard pressed to ever see the E-75 though. There's a grind I can't be bothered with.

The rate of fire of the MT-25 is not 80 rounds a minute, the Wargaming wiki is wrong. The rate of fire is 25 rounds.

Having played the VK4502B I can confirm it's simply ecstatic to hear E100 HEAT shells fizzle and do no damage on you. Really miss that tank sonce having the maus now. The VK4502A has some hate as some people play it as a heavy. Play it as a medium/medium hunter and it'll do wonders.

Oh Jingles you silly man, the VK4502A is more like a heavy medium, you can't play it like a heavy. However it is quite mobile and the gun is really ok as well. The front turret means you don't have to expose yourself too long and the frontplate can go to extreme angles with the turret so far up front. I really enjoyed the VK4502A, on paper it doesn't look very good, but it really is. really, just go with the mediums and you should be fine. I find it not to be a piece of shit at all, in fact it's more like a 113 in very small or the T-10 (at least similar). But yeah, you need to be able to play a bit better to have fun in it I guess, in the realm where mobility is more important than armor for you.

Yo, Jingles, I got myself a VK4502B, as alot of other people mentionned, the grind of the tier 8 is indeed painfull, but I say at first. I mean, once you grind the the gun, turret and, especially the engine, the tank becomes correct. It is not the most painfull grind I had, I can assure you. But once you have reached the VK4502B, I must warn you, The clip that you showed will give you a false sense of security, you cannot simply rule them all. You must be careful with your armor, also, arty will shit on you (naturally) and yes, as soon as you're alone, you're screwed. (shit dpm) For me, it's like if they tried o make compromises with the E-75 - more mobility and less armor compared to this. Anyway, it is worth the grind, my best shot was when a JpzE100 bounced 2 shots from the from directly on my lower glacis.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by the VK 45.02 A. I think it gets an unwarranted bad rap. Armor is weak but can bounce in the right conditions, and it is far more mobile and agile than most top tier heavies. Gun is good accuracy, dpm is good. I got 2 marks in it without even trying. Beats the Tiger 2 hands down imo. Play it more like a heavy medium than a light heavy and you'll do well.

jingles, the VK4502A is more a slow lumbering "heavy" medium like the superpershing and can hold his own. it is inpenetrable for is6 at a 45° angle and that means, that it can chew up all tier7 and many tier8. against higher tier you still got "some" protection because you can sidescrape in it until help comes. it feels like the premium tier7 heavy VK with a higher alpha
