I remember Patch 2.4 very fondly. It was definitely one of the better times to be playing WoW. That music takes me back to Quel'Danas dailies, Magister's Terrace runs, and Sunwell progression which I thoroughly enjoyed up until around Muru and KJ which then led to me taking a break until WotLK came out. Good times.
The fall of Kael'thas is almost as sad as the fall of Arthas when he became the Lich King...such great characters. Fantastic remaster, brought back good memories of TBC.
As a huge fan of Sin'Dorei, I just can't help to say it's MARVELOUS. SELAMA ASHAL'ANORE!

I always found Kael'Thas a tragic hero. I'm actually impatient to find him in Shadowlands... in hope to help his redemption, 'cause he didn't start as evil. I hate the fact that Blizz just won't give us back the true Highborne, Silver Covenant, blue-eyes highborne elves... I loved them since W3, I was miffed when blood elves were introduced, I was hopeful when Silver Covenant came into play, when Vereesa stayed true the her nature... And then we got Ren'dorei as an answer. You did justice once again to things of old with your work. Thank you.
But the new customization options literally allow you to make a normal skinned, alliance, blue eyed void elf without any void effects on it. That's a high elf.
Tinker Bell TBC ruined Kaelthas, just like TBC ruined Illidan. Legion was a bandaid fix for the shit writting Illidan got earlier in wow. Hopefully Shadowlands gives us some good Kaelthas lore.
@@sparrowcfc9 legion was crap Tbc didnt have amy writing at all Which is better for mmorpg Then this shitty cheap story we get from pandaria forward Legion wasnt fix for anything, it was just further decay
Kael'Thas logic: I'll ally with the Burning Legion that ordered the destruction of Quel'Thalas to destroy Azeroth. With their help, I'll restore the Sunwell they destroyed.
Amazing job. Only flaw was using blood elves in the opening scenes, you can tell because they have green eyes, when high elves had blue eyes because they didn't absorb any fel magic yet.
Really love your work, am wanting to see the Secrets of Ulduar Cinematic become Remastered! Clearly one of my favorite raids back in Wrath of the Lich King!
I love the fact these never stray away from Warcraft's art style. You always see these Unreal Engine Warcraft videos and they never look right, but these are fucking perfect. Keep up the amazing work.
Thank you for remaking probably my favourite cinematic and storyline about blood elves! 🔥 I started playing WoW when TBC was on and the belves were the first race to play and it remains my favourite.
This is so incredibly beautiful. Thank you for doing this! It made me fall in love with BC all over again. I can't wait to see Kael'thas again in Shadowlands!
Great Work! I think you absolutely nailed this remaster. I just now realized that the glass shattering and the kael statue falling apart probably ment something and your trailer makes that way easier to catch.
This was awesome! I remember, when i watch the original trailer first time. These feelings in me was the same when i watch your video! I want more remastered videos from you! :D Prefect! Never stop making videos! Greetings from Hungary! Bal'a dash, malanore!
oh my god i loved this so much! This brought back my love for not only the blood elves but the burning crusade era entirely, thats when i really started playing. I still hate that they made kael evil when he really just wanted to help his people and we ended up killing him, but thats a whole other story. This video. Perfection!
@@spartan9423 Could do, i'm in that spot where Idk if I wan't authentic or P.S i'm used to PS but what i've seen from Classic playerbase is really good and also kinda shady and bomb rushed the crap out of Classic so I've been thinking what player-base is better P.S or Retail/Classic Player base if it comes to that but I could try out TBC on my own terms whenever since Warmane exists or if a new TBC server comes out
TBC was a great experience, with the success of classic I can definitely see a TBC or Time-Locked Progression type server happening for WoW, but a lot of private servers are blizzard-like or better nowadays, either way, game was great in TBC/Wrath.
Sunwell was my favorite patch, watching the island evolve while conquering it a little bit everyday was really good. It had a true feeling like if we were part of an army there to stop in time KJ and Kael Thas
@@JustAChinesePleb Well as Naga were servants to the Old Gods and the Legion was directly opposed to the Void she could have been there to win him over to the Void's side. She also could have been sent there by Queen Ashara as she knows Illiadin and just wanted him back under her. But we will never know because yeah BC needed some bosses!
@@SigmaTheWhiteFlame I always thought because vashs was envious of azarah and copied her looks and behavior that by having her own followers and "kingdom" in zangarmarsh she would be better than azarah? Kinda like sending a message or self esteem boost?
@@SigmaTheWhiteFlame Back in BC the Naga were created by the residual energies of the Well, not the Old Gods. Azshara at the time of Frozen Throne and BC's writing had no allegiance except to herself. They came to the surface in response to an intense call of power and promises that Illidan would help them retake their old Night Elf lands. Back then the Void was where the Legion drew its evil power from. Crazy how much retconning has happened in 15 years.
I think this trailer really does a good job of portraying Kael'Thas's fall. He wasn't a mad man or a treacherous monster willing to betray his people at the first sign of danger like Dar'Khan, he was their leader and their greatest advocate. And he was desperate. The first solution he found - Illidan - wasn't delivering results, and his people were suffering, more wretched appeared every day, and sources of magic were growing slimmer and slimmer. Then a fel voice whispered out to him, a font of abundant magical power to sate the elves. That was where he became a mad man, that was where Kael'Thas Sunstrider - not very different from Arthas Menethil - gave up his soul as a bargaining chip, only to become a willful slave to his enemies. Like his fellow Prince, Kael'Thas's story is a tragedy. Your remaster was gorgeous as always, and it just hypes me up more and more to find Kael'Thas in the Shadowlands.
This was such a good expansion. Kael'thas Sunstrider was an amazing character in WC3. All he wanted was to help save his people and if necessary, deliver them to a new world called Outland where there was a plethora of Magic. But WoW: TBC did his character dirty. Same goes for Illidan, but at least his character was redeemed in Legion. Hopefully Kael'thas will be redeemed in SL. Btw, Bioware with Dragon Age 4 seems to be taking plot elements from WC3 and WoW with Solas being a discount Kael'thas Sunstrider! No joke!
I never experienced Sunwell raiding back in the day, as I was like 5 years old- But after completing the raid in tbc classic, I truly have a newfound appreciation for everything from the burning crusade. The blood elves' lore especially interests me, just super sad and honestly almost depressing. My love for this game is quite immense, but this expansion in particular is where so much of my attention falls to again and again. Not even mentioning black temple either- hah. Tbc is my virtual home, and this video helped me further that feeling.. haha. Thank you.
How ironic it was for Kael'thas to pledge his allegiance to the force that was ultimately responsible for Silvermoon's destruction. Arthas and the undead scourge were merely the tools used, It was all of Kil'Jaeden's doing all along.
@@xgt1000 oh you mean that the Lich King was Kil'Jaeden's creation and the undead scourge was a means to soften up Azeroth for the incoming legion invasion? yep, i really dont know my lore.
Litchking from the beginning wanted vengeance and was never loyal to KilJ, by the time he and Arthas merged he finally betrayed KilJaden. It was Arthas doing to go to the sunwell not KilJ's plan. Arthas went to the sunwell to resurrect his right hand man KelThuzad. Even Sargeras who is the leader of the legion feared the eventual capabilities the Litchking had who is KilJ'S boss. Even before Kelthas joined KilJaden he worked with illidan to try to kill Arthas aka Litchking by KilJaden himselfs order.
@@xgt1000 And why did he resurrect Ke'thuzad again? He was being directed by the Dreadlord Tichondrius because he was the only one capable of knowing where the Book of Medivh was used to summon Archimonde to Azeroth. And if the LK was such in complete control during those events, he couldve just let Arthas kill the dreadlords. The LK had no beef with Quel'Thalas. Even Arthas was surprised why he had to direct his forces to go there. Someone did not play Warcraft 3
I see what you mean and why by that statement you think you're correct lol but let's see how this really is. "Finally, Archimonde was summoned outside Dalaran, and he immediately gave control of the Scourge to Tichondrius and the Dreadlords. But the Lich King was not done yet. Archimonde may have removed Ner'zhul's control over the undead, but in his eagerness for vengeance against the Night Elves, he forgot to return the Frozen Throne to Kil'jaeden. Thus, the Lich King remained at large. In fact, it seems the Lich King had already anticipated the later defeat of both Archimonde and the Burning Legion on Azeroth - Kel'thuzad revealed to Arthas (who was rather baffled by how the Scourge's leadership changed so quickly) that the Lich King had foreseen the demotion and that Arthas could still have a part to play in his grand design". Even if the well of eternity was used to summon archimonde, Kel'Thuzad's resurrection outweighs Archimonde's summon. KT Got Arthas/LK a bunch of people to become undead with the Cult of the Damned.
Glory the the Sun King! He will be the last and true king of Quel’Thalas. Thanks blizzard for destroying his story. And thank you dude for this amazing job!!
Kael'thas will be the true Blood Elf leader no matter what. Too bad he got such bad writing as most of the old Warcraft 3 characters. Wasted potential.
@maccajoe and a generic power hungry villain who do evil thing because he is... evil is a better written character than an anti-hero leader who have to guide his people after lost everything, walking his moral in a grey area to finally feed his people hunger... interesting.
