World of Warcraft - INVINCIBLE

Vocals: Jihye Kim and The Danish National Junior Choir
In June 2019, The Danish Broadcast Corporation (DR) aired a concert called “FANTASYMPHONY - ONE CONCERT TO RULE THEM ALL” performed by The Danish National Symphony Orchestra, The Danish National Concert Choir, The Danish National Junior Choir with various soloists conducted by Christian Schumann.
The music performed was soundtracks from a wide range of fantasy movies, TV series and a video game reflecting different musical perspectives on magic, fantasy, swords, dragons, rings and bells.
Featured composers were John Williams, Howard Shore and Ramin Djawadi along side Ed Sheeran and Queen with music from Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Willow, Narnia and much more.

Arthas' story is so masterfully sad. You can't help but feel a profound sense of loss and a pang of regret for what his future might have been. Whenever Arthas says "Father, is it over," you also feel a pang of meta remorse. It's the end of Arthas' story, the orchestra has played its last note. It leaves you feeling empty.

@@sithlordzach8418 Just damn shame such great story was wasted in MMO like WoW....Warcraft III's storytelling was great and if we would have gotten Warcraft IV instead of of World of Warcraft....to me atleast its clear that the ending to his story could have been done so much better.

@@Balnazzardi Yeah I'm gonna call nostalgia glasses on that. Warcraft 3 is fantastic, but as someone who played it only recently, it takesa bout 30 minutes real time, and about two short cutscenes, to go from paladin arthus to the culling of stratholm arthus. Warcraft 3's story telling wasn't ground breaking or anything. Wow's story telling has been better especially when you look at expansions like Legion.

The composition is mostly good, but I think it's kind of harmed that it's just follows a very basic ABAB pattern, interesting ideas within each section but the repition with no variation other than "more forceful this time" makes it a bit boring

And how was he (Terenas) right and wrong at the same time, but overall Arthas fate was the coolest thing in the warcraft history. Even up to this day it grow even stronger, when watching what blizz is doing with lore currently.

To me, this has always been the belated requiem for Prince Arthas . . . the man he was, the King he could have been. He died long before the heroes stormed ICC. The trumpets in this piece sound so regal, befitting the last prince of Lorderon . . .

One of the best performances I've seen of this song. One of my favorites. So much emotion; a scene of vast grandeur, reverence, majesty and sorrow. Darkness bathed in hope and light. You brought it to life. It's not just a song from a game. It's a beautiful composition that everyone should hear. I hope I am fortunate enough to hear more.

you should have a listen to other stuff Danish orchestra does. from what I've seen they are top tier. I've been to actual last concert of Ennio Morricone before he died and imho danish orchestra does his music better than his own orchestra.

It was amazing live. I had a spot on the first balcony, front and center. Even though the sound was amplified with loudspeakers, you could always tell where the individual sounds came from.

If i would be there, i would cry like a baby. I appreciate their work and their performance, some of them maybe are fans also, but there is such much more than the music and the soundtracks. It's the experience of first time being in there, alone and find out for yourself what to do next in order to level and be stronger. Also, going through the story is one of the most crucial for a wholesome experience. I will never forget WoTLK. They say that "No king rules forever". Even to this day, WoTLK was the best expansion ever. It is the king through kings. And it forever will be.

I never even played WoW myself really, but my friend is huge Arthas enjoyer and showed me this song a long time ago. I've been hooked into it ever since and this version just takes it to new level. Wish I could just find myself in concert where they play this.
