The second area looks like a copy of the Sha of fear area with the red area being the spawn location. The second area seems to be an older version of the map than the dungeon itself. Super interesting!
Near the end of the video, the blue area seems to be an alpha version of the lake area in Kun-Lai summit where you can take that tunnel through to the Jade Forest. Right at the end you’re standing near where the yak wash would be. The orc hut seems to match the location of the horde town near the temple of the white tiger. Great video, more pandaria content please!
Great video, I love how these areas have a mystical or even unrealistic aura. All this data hidden here and there, it's still so cool. I agree with the Val, I would like to be able to access the two previous versions of the Val in game which is not its destroyed version or its BFA version.
something i find interesting about the mantis texts is how theyre all individual, theyre not copied. someone had to have written each one for some reason. maybe its someones signature? an inside joke? a hint to something? whatever it is, its pretty neat lol. also that orc hut was so weird what
I remember when Asmongold go in this area and look confused by seeing Mantis wrote on texture. I think it's a kind of designer's signature or something like WKM in Orgrimmar, I'm pretty sure I saw another Mantis somewhere else. And in my opinion, by exploring a lot of area, MoP is particularly unique and look really different of previous maps with no signature texts. Tip: In MoP Remix with "Meteor Chip" item + "Levitation" spell, or toys making you levitate, you can travel a really long distance to access others lands out of bounds. You just have to disable your levitation when you want to land at ground. With Camera Toy + Sea Mist potion you can glitch the view distance and by using another camera's filters you disable the fog to see the whole map. I do this everytime I access a new out of bounds to see the size of the map.
