Ah yea, everyone wanted that razer naga, production quality, the intros, the segways, the overarching story in each and every video mixed with a little bit of real life content is what makes me come to these videos every now and then.

I think the production quality was way better back then compared to nowadays. RU-vid was basically the only platform and content quality on it was what separated one creator from another. Meaning they really had to put an effort into editing their videos and everything. But now, most of the ppl are not even bothering with editing, just uploading Twitch VODs or highlights at best and not even bothering with editing. When you look at this videos and videos alike you see the effort put into editing, the creativeness the story... That's why imo the videos of 10+ years ago are of a far better quality imo than those of today...

People complain that swifty is famous but hes not the best. Well so what? The thing thats incredible about swifty is that he comes up with insane strategies on how to beat ANY class. He helps people and makes entertaining videos. Hes just a good RU-vidr overall..

it's actually bane of agony now instead of curse of agony and only 1 curse can be applied at a time. so a decent lock will have bane of agony, corruption, haunt, and UA up on you 100% of the time and then throw out elements/exhaustion/weakness as needed. :)

alot of credit usually goes to the healers, but more goes to dps because usually they are the ones coordinating most of their damage cds and cc, where a healer maybe has to call out a hoj or a psychic scream or call out when they need peels the dps need to be in constant communication.

I myself play a lock and feel you are being quite accurate in what locks will do. however, some locks will fake cast into a death coil then go for either curses and dots or go for an incinerate if for some reason the lock is able to get immolate on the enemy without being interrupted. if neither of those are possible, they will go into casting a fear, then go for a soul fire, especially if they have the instant buff up. oh, also, be careful about backlash and the free incinerate/shadow bolt.

another thing: make sure you DESTROY the shield locks can get from their voidwalker. if they pull it, break it, cc them, kill the demon, then go in for the kill.

@akkkatsuki Fear and The sucubuss's Seduction are on the same DR, so his fears wouldnt be as effective alot sooner than he would be without it, so the next best choice is his felhunter which does more damage depending on how much dots the opponent has on him

Swiftly, i've heard a rumor that says that there will be a Glyph which makes Unstable Affaction instant-cast. but adds a +5 sec more cd.

@prada24snipe he did once at 4:11 after his unstable affliction, but swifty spell reflected the unstable affliction back at him so he stopped casting haunt to cast unstable affliction again. he also tried casting it at 7:40 but swifty charged it. so yeah he tried just couldn't get it off.

To everyone who thinks this lock should stop pillar hugging in nag. Locks have next to no chance of beating a warrior if they stand toe to toe. Every single good team i've faced pillar hugs BECAUSE ITS EFFECTIVE. At the end of the day, theres no rating gained by playing an "honorable" (loosely used) way. Im not even a lock/healer/mage. If a non pet user is kiting, leave combat and mount. Also, i know Swifty cant here, but if a warlock jumps off something, swap targets, they'll be back.

the problem about the whole healer/dps-thing is that duelling healers is a bit silly. and btw hydra, cdew and kollektor are quite famous, as they are 3k-rated heals.

That's because an enemy player is not able to see a self-only buff. If you were referring to what is best, I would say the difference is very very small, and that this warlock obviously chosed the armor that would suit his playstyle the best. If you analyze the fight you can see that no one wanted to start, but summoning a pet would make Swifty run to him, and if he really wanted that Felhunter he should have started with it. No hate buddy, but I'm just saying.

^Yeah, Warlock is one of the classes that actually requires practice and skill in order to succeed. I mean really, a friend of mine (Mage) put ''Ice lance'' on all of his action bars, still won the first 2 duels he tried vs randoms.

actually you can be the best healer in the world and if you have terrible dps you will never get anywhere because you will never get a kill,but if the heals are bad the dps can peel keep the healer alive and get a kill for the victory sounds like the dps are just as important if not more important.
