i think it's the must underrated plane in T8. not many players decide to even give it a thought to try master this plane. i think it's 2 main reasons, first the guns that people have trouble mastering. second the way the TA performs when it arrives in stock configuration. to be honest it flies like a dragon with a bad wing. the main reason i wanted this plane so bad was my first event, i was on the receiving end of a TA's fire and was stunned how much damage it did to me from so far away with so little shots needed to kill me. so i wanted it, just to be disappointed how it performed. still i grinded it to spec and it all changed. i swapped around parts until it was working best for my style and until today it's my fav plane in T8 and the one i have flew the most sorties in period. my build is for maneuverability and maxed out it just has enough to surprise most players in more agile planes. the speed and altitude combined with decent maneuverability gives it the edge over many planes. i swapped the long barrels to have better fire rate and in my experience that balance is much better than have the better range and accuracy but that's personal preference as always. this plane is a monster and if anyone ever decides to create a TA 152 clan i'm in. but considering it's extreme low popularity i won't hold my breath lol. thanks for the video, o7, X3M-ASSASSIN.
InGen if im not mistaken it was meant to be the next generation of Fock-Wulf. The first airframe was designated the Fw 190 V20, using the DB 603 engines. The top airframe (H variant) was called the Fw 190 V30, featuring the Jumo 213 engine. At leas thats what a cursory google run tells me. They said it’s airspeed rivaled the Do-335, so I’m glad i tried the polished skin. The speed is pretty good on this thing.
@@Veebat Problem is, the top airframe (H variant) is for high altitude operations and armed with 2 20s and the hub 30. The triple 30 loadout is the stock airframe (B variant) for ground attacks.
As you can see under the Marksman skill, there are two mechanics for accuracy - "dispersion" and "accuracy of firing (AOF)". You can think of them as maximum and minimum accuracy, respectively. MG's have poor dispersion (maximum) but great AoF (minimum) (think of a shotgun with birdshot). Cannons are usually middle of the road on both. Big caliber cannons have amazing dispersion (maximum) but terrible AoF (minimum) (like a sniper rifle - you cant just point and shoot, but its possible to hit with great precision). The wing guns on the Ta-152 have had their already bad AoF nerfed into the ground (literally: its the worst AoF in the game). As an example, in your head-on with the JAWA, pause at 7:59. All three shells pull towards the target after you fire, but only the hub gun gets enough bend to hit.
What about the I-211? I'm about to unlock it, has very similar, slightly stronger guns than Ta-152. Hopefully it's guns are all "accurate" and "consistent" enough to make me smile.
@@marcellus_h7930 The first two sets of guns function more like the 37mm hub guns of the Airacobra family - basically a standard cannon that trades a lower overheat time for a higher alpha. But the final set of 37mm cannons (NN-37) are true snipers, functioning very much like the Mk-103 hub gun on the Ta-152 and Arrow
@UCaCEkXjfZ5vrm_ZNAEyp1tg If you mean the three 37mm NN-37, yes, overall they will collectively perform better than the three guns on the Ta-52's elite configuration because of a) higher damage b) longer burst before overheat c) better AoF
Harbinger Zero agreed! I am thinking about picking it back up. It deletes planes with ease. Feels way more consistent than the 152. Which is a nice change if pace considering the slog to get through the Su-9
At around 0:45, mentioned were the Yak-7, 9 and 9U and, paraphrased, ‘if one cannot align the cannon(s) with the target,’ “That’s on you.” Yes, sir. If one cannot aim, one cannot win. Later around 9:40 the ‘shot cone’ was mentioned with appropriate dash of RNG. One may aim, but not hit as expected or indicated. The larger caliber cannons make one carefully consider their shots - reload, cooling, disengaging, strategic priorities, etc. It feels more surgical and less spammy. The Veebat channel has much commentary about letting the barrels cool for more accuracy. I’ve found that there is an anomaly in the tier five Bell XFL-1 Airabonita. It seems to shoot faster after the initial shot.

What I was trying to relay is that even a properly aimed shot may hit but the damage is lacking due to the round hitting a wing tip opposed to the central mass. Me 209A with the two 20s and the MK-108 30 might be the answer to a high altitude fighter now that this thing is proven nerfed. Other than 209A, all I can say is use the Mustang H. It’s really not that bad, is very fast, and it has good firepower: 23 overall, I think.
Nerfing those guns isn't an accident, but has been probably a preparation for the release of the BV. P. 203 and the Horten 229. Those latter have the same/very similar guns, and they're good and accurate enough. Of course You have to pay like 50-60 Euros/Dollars for the bundles they're available in. Other: bot JAWAs have ridiculous altitude performance, very annoying.
Like Vee, I ground it out to specialist to put some top flight gear on it. And then ground out the tier 9 jet version. its ... trolly at first; until you and the plane reach an understanding. Then that lucky albatross becomes a murder machine. Nothing else quite like it at that tier and *once you become accustomed to aiming the guns* you go from cant hit shit even if (some say especially if) the target is RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU ARRRGH to sniping anything within a kilometer. And this is post nerf. Pre-nerf it was even better by all accounts.. Buuuut getting dialed in with the guns takes a while. Going in cold (especially from a plane that uses very different guns) is a recipe for a bad start for the best of us. The rest of us mere mortals may take a whole battle or three to get it together. But its worth it for the best tech tree sniper fighter. And then i got the premium Horton 223 in the same tier. It flies a bit differently than what the rest of the line is like. a bit less roll response. Literally no rudder to speak of. But the pitch rate will surprise you. so it trades one great gun and 2 sabotaged guns for 2 pretty good non sabotaged guns in a multi-engine light fighter; thus it is (over all) much less of a hassle to use. And it still provides that sniper gameplay with all the benefits of a really cool looking tier 8 premium. Dont get me wrong; hopping into a Horton cold will still require some adjustment. Just not as much as the Ta 152. Why have two same tier, same nation, pain in my ass to get used to, sniper planes to fly if one is a premium?. So I sold my Albatross :( Stuffed that pilot into the next plane. Which flies like a mini-Me 262. Which is not a bad thing. its just not the Albatross.

Those phantom rounds happen a lot, I have had that happen to me quite a bit during some matches. Not sure why it happens but i think its server related.
