The French really knew how to name their ships, the best thing is that the French DDs are little cruisers without any citadel :D 20:22 no no Terry everyone knows that the sacred café is accompanied with a very special viennoiserie : le croissant The baguette is for lunch with a piece of camembert xD Oh and Aigle means eagle in French, they really loved powerfull animal names
@@FunandGameswithTerry thank youu ❤️, I am afraid of buying him an equipment because I don't have coins anymore if I buy the wrong equipment for him 😄😄
I got lucky and won Mogador with a key. She is very fun. And fast. And I grinded the victory blitz to get her camo and legendary Commander for free. Was able to get the tier 7 french DD too with the reward tree event. They are perfect DDs for the play style I like. So I like them so far. Great video Terry.
Nice video Terry…I got the tier seven dd the Vauquelin…these ships bring a new twist to dd play and it might be hard on new players. What is some advise you would give them?
To pretend they're in a light cruiser...? I don't think this is a good starter line, since the early tiers are quite slow, and have low utility, so they require some skill, situational awareness and knowing when to go for torpedo runs.
I improve playing the game when Terry uploads a video. Quality is impressive. Question, any Idea when the french destroyers (scout cruisers) will be released?
They can be dangerous at close range, if enemy DDs don't have support, you have the RR ready and they miss their torp drops. Lots of ifs. I'm keen to try Le Terrible though, and probably just build her for speed instead of concealment.
Not sure, I don't expect it to be an issue in higher tiers, but I've definitely seen it in mid-tiers. German DDs would have a similar problem. Given that 150mm AP, e.g. on Mainz or the Soviet CLs works fine, I don't expect it. Targeting the core hitbox should work, maybe bow/stern?
I've still got a review pending. She's very fast, but in line with the French DDs, she's more of a light cruiser. Odd torpedo arrangement, don't try to brawl DDs, kite, gunboat, set fires. Be aware that there's a free Le Fantasque class in the tech tree, I'll have to check what the differences are.
I did a Goliath review, and probably a couple of the lower tiers... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3qgfHs6UhmY.html Not a great line AFAIR
Don't quite know how I feel about these ships.... Got the tier 7 in a grind and, some times it is fun and others it is horrid. It's meant to duel dds before running away to do light cruiser spam at 8km (longest range at its tier) but it gets heavily focused and destroyed trying to retreat. Damage is also pretty poor due to its short range torps. Sometimes it can be fun though, still getting to grips with it.
It's a nasty surprise for enemy DDs at the opening stages. But you need to be careful, she doesn't have the manoeuvrability or speed to get out alive if they had backup.
Merci beaucoup. I've had French in highschool, can't really speak anymore, but I can read a bit and generally pronounce things ... mostly. I got "aigle" pretty wrong :)
Up till T8 it's primarily a ranged playstyle, but I'm curious how well the faster ones will perform. For once, most people won't have the range for something that goes almost 50kn, so pure speed is likely your friend.
Play a distance you say?.... I found out these guns to be American trollish levels.... I prefer to stay close and brawl even though I think it doesn't have as much utility as the Soviet or German DD
If they were faster, I'd say that'd be an option. But with up till T8, it's pretty situational. I'm much happier in CQC myself, but those games usually ended very quickly. Without the engine boost, the T6 struggles to even disengage from a BB.
