Had fun with the Argentina. Played her like a destroyer - a bigger, fatter, slower destroyer without HE but when she gets broadsides she gets citadels. IIRC the VI, VII, VIII and IX ships in this line are all "death by a thousand cuts" so you have to keep shooting which also fills up the combat instructions which pretty much gives you instant reloads on the damage control and repair parties.
The main problem for AP and even SAP only ships at low tier is that since there is little superstructure on BBs that you supposed to farm so you shatter on main guns and health Canarias for example sucks even more cause it has terrible reload
This ship requires extreme covers and not fun to play with, unlike the Emerald or Omaha. But still, its vulnerable to battleship AP or even 203mm HE especially Furutaka.
This is why I prefer avoiding gimmick ships. You sacrifice too much to have a situationally useful skill when you would be better served by a good all around ship in it's class that is useful everywhere.
@@Aerroon This line, but for me this was a highlight of the line. One of my favorite ships. Play these cruisers as dedicated cruiser killers, use your torps to ambush BBs. Leave the DDs to dedicated DD killers.
I'm Ah, I pawned the line for R-P lol I got to play the line one more time. In the hands of a skilled player this ship and line look fun. take care @Arroon and thank for the vid Man.
@@Aerroon just keep throwing shit at them... im not a good player to begin with so thats what I do with every ship i have. that said at these low tiers side on shooting the bow or stern usually works.
Yeah I dont like that ship either, I just got the Los Andes, I played 4 games in a row and did just okay with it, then the 5th game I decided to play her like a thunderer HE only and I get nearly 300k and 4 kills lol
@@MangoMilitia It just felt so wildly unthoughtful and trash that it felt disrespectful to Latin America. I mean I'm being hyperbolic because, of course, War Gaming doesn't need to be racist to just be stone cold lazy.
