Good morning Jingles, First I wanted to thank you for your youtube channel, Even though I’m a casual player of WOT and WOW. I have been a big fan of your show for almost 2 years now. I enjoy your humor and tactical analysis, and feel that you have made me a better player. The reason why I’m commenting is because I had an idea for Wargaming to create a resource sink for WOW, and I wanted to pass it on to you. The basic idea is after you reach Tier 10 in a certain tech line, you will then have the option to go back to any ship in that tech line and buy a silver and gold version of that ship. When you do this, it will buff the stats of the ship (health, guns, Torps, speed etc) and effectively making it a tier higher (gold will be two tiers). The upgraded ships will be given match making based on their upgraded stats( so a tier 4 gold ship will be treated as a tier 6) I think this a great idea because it would allow veteran players to go back and play their favorite low tier ships while increasing the difficulty for veteran players, while not hindering the casual players from enjoying the game. I know it's not a perfect idea, I don’t know how it would work at higher tiers, but I think it's at least better than the commander school that Wargaming is currently thinking. Imagine a tier 4 gold ship being buffed to tier 6 and fighting against tier 8 ships. Anyway thats my idea, let me know what you think, Thanks again for your time!

I remember a game with those dam 40 torpedo boats. The enemy team also had a carrier. Most of my team lemming trained toward C on the Fault line map. It was a turkey shoot. Guy were running into each other running aground shooting and swearing at it each other for getting in each other ways while 40 torps sail towards them.

I remember near the end of the Kitakami's life, there was this huge clear area that appeared around it within 1 minute of the game starting. You would look at the mini map and the Kita would have an entire side of the map to itself, lol.

Ah, the days of the Kitikami and mass torpedoes...so nostalgic

IJN Atago is possibly the most beautiful Heavy Cruiser of second World War.

I love my Atago. I'm not even really a cruiser player, but IJN cruisers are my cruiser line and I picked it up as a trainer while I was grinding through Aoba. I haven't regretted it. She's wonderful to use, provided you're cautious about getting blown out of the water.

Always liked the Atago but felt like every match I ended up in was Tier 10 . When she's top tier the Atago is quite fun. Great video sir, +1.

My favourite part of some of these videos is watching that one guy, and there always seems to be at least one, that dies and just continually rages in chat with whatever axe they have to grind at the moment.

The Atago is not based on the Myoko. It is a member of the Takao class of heavy cruiser, not the Myoko class. The Takao class replaced the Myoko and the only thing similar about them is the gun placement.

I got Kitakame on Battlestations Pacific, a kind of WoWS forerunner back in the day. Idk how similar they would have been but Battlestations Kitakami was a beast, considering it had to engage Fuso, Yamato, Montana and Alaska alike

Ah, talking about the Kitakami makes me wish I was part of the CBT of WoWS and really makes me want to have the Kitakami in the port right about now even if it is a one-trick pony. Though back then, it was so different so everyone wasn't like a flamu and such! I mean can you imagine the horror of a battleship player, all by himself, and he has to face a pair of Kitakami-class Cruisers christened "Ooichi" and "Kitakami"? That's EIGHTY TORPEDOES! I managed to get the ARP Takao, so I never needed to get this ship. I lose .3 km in camo, but I am happy to trade that camo rating for a free ship that looks awesome.

Okay, Jingles. You've explained enough why we can't have the Kitakami. But can I have an Ooi now? (Big Grosser Kurfurst sized spoiler: The IJN Ooi was the sister ship of the Kitakami and had the same specs as her [including the 40 torps].) Totally a different ship. It would be so balanced.

Hey Jingles I have a funny result for you. The enemy team bum rushed through the middle on Two Brothers and only their carrier and Destroyer got killed Yet we managed to hold off their cap and fully capped their base first with all but 1 ship running through the middle (that ship being the carrier). We won the match because their single minded determination got enough battleship and cruiser attention that they ended up getting focused on.

The Kitakami was a area denial system.

Oh yes, the Kitakami. Those were the times. Good ol' times. With server population of less than a few thousand. You'd see the same people over and over again. Much MUCH friendlier.

I love the Atago. I have an idea that might bring the Kitakami back. Don't give her a reload. I mean, most games I play in torpedo-ships I fire less than 40 torps. Let's give her just one set. You really have to plan when to use them, and from what side. A challenge!

The fact that the Kitakami was removed makes me so sad. We need that ship back.

Jingles you might want to re-check your Atago's stats, few months ago with the rework of CV's they nerfed concealment on large ships, but they nerfed the wrong ones, and Atago fully decked out is 9.3km detection range more or less an average game of Atago on my screen, Clutch Situations all the way, cant carry hard if you havnt been citadelled least 4 times in Atago and alive :) In retrospect right now with the ammount of DD's in game that refuse to go anywhere near caps, and the amount of CV cancer in the air, you dont get a better time than now to bring back Kitakami with 20 km tops and a torp reload booster :)
