the rear turret bug seems only at close range, maybe the gun depression for short range is why the ui indicates cant fire it because it would hit the secondary turret at a certain angle with the guns right down for close targets. WG still need to sort it out whatever it is.
The "candy cane" stripping was an air identification marking for the regio aeronautica so they didn't get attacked by their own aircraft. In 1943 the Italians switched sides and no longer applied it from there on out as there was no need to as the German's didn't have much of a luftwaffe to speak of by that time in the mediterranean nor any surface fleet besides some S-boats and U-boats. Everything floating or in the air was pretty much allied by that time.
not good enough for research bureau given how much effort it takes to earn research points to buy anything there. anything in there should be among the best ships in game
The thing with her as well is she doesn't feel like a RB ship, just more of a Colombo side grade. If she was available for coal than she be more appealing If you really want a ship that has sap secondaries, get Napoli. You can get her for coal and she is overall a very solid ship
IMO as i just got her, she has the potential to be an ABSOLUTE monster in the Right hands. one of the biggest boons is that she has is that she inherited the Enhanced Exhaust smoke from her cousin the Giuseppe Verdi. which when fully speced is 72.6 seconds. which is about 16 more seconds then Colombos exhaust smoke fully speced. My first battle with her netted me 180,000 damage. Having played the Verdi, That Exhaust Smoke is your biggest asset/ally to push in or disengage and let your secondaries do their work. Ps putting Luigi as the commander to make your secondaries leave behind the red tracers of Doom for Fear factor is also great as well.
Great intro, nice video. Maybe is "cheaper" than Ohio, but, a little bit more RP and you can get one of the best TX BB or a ton of legendary modules, I already have Napoli and Mickey so I've enough SAP secondaries.
Absolutely fire intro. However I don't think it's worth it for RB points, if it was coal I'd snap it up instantly, but this ship just can't compete with ohio and slava.
Great video Sea Lord! Thank you for always providing a no bs review. I am thinking about grinding more research bureau points. Everyone says that the Harugumo line is the fastest to grind, but what if I want to change it up a little. What are the next fastest lines to grind?
As a player that's not right in the head, I love it. I love Italian ships, the BB line was my first completed line and have ground it twice and DD's twice. This is the only Italian I don't have. I'm all in! Thanks. I don't have any problem with it being a Steel Ship it just makes it that much rarer.
afaik the italian air force accidentally bombed one of their own ships in ww2, after that incident the italian navy painted the pin stripes on deck to prevent that from happening again.
Resetting the Harugumo line seems the thing to do if you want RB points. Any idea how much worst grinding the Spanish Cruiser line again is? I don't have any Japanese lines and I hardly play DD's. The few I have are premiums and a couple of European DD's.
The smoke firing detection range buff appears to be 12.2% for MB. I am presuming this buff is the same for secondaries. Taking both concealment buffs is additional 20% (total is 32.2%). MB in smoke detection is 13.84 K and secondaries is 11.7 K. Secondary range is 10.5 K. I am not a math wiz so my calculations may be incorrect. So is the secondary detection in smoke greater than the secondary range? Did you get detected when the secondaries started firing in smoke? What were the stern turret firing angles? I hope you can answer these questions.
So what do you think about the firing angles when you are within secondary range? Because at range this ship has insane firing angles at 22 degrees but within secondary range they become 48 degrees because the secondaries are in the way. That’s even worst than the GK! So I’m thinking should I this at range?
What do we think of the Tianjin, its just a Riga right? Its the first in the bundle box for 1k dubs for me. Is it worth 1k dubs to have a premium knock off Riga?
you know why DD will not go spot these days, its not the enemy's DD, its the enemy's other surface ships and the team's , cause going spotting means they had to put themselves into enemy's kill zone while at the same time the teammates ( Cruisers and BB ) will never be in any close support distance what 5 to 8 KM back ready to give close support and fire suppression knowing they had no way to gain any for real support when they need it ( and when a DD need it, the DD need it immediate , not after the big guns get out of hiding behind an island ) so why so many DD choose not to spot any more , its a very simple fa
The biggest problem it has (and quite a few other testers agree), her turret angles (especially at the back) are terrible. Worst in the game for BB's, or very close to it. So if you try to go into brawling range, you can't really use the back guns unless you give way too much side. The reason being those exact secundaries you mention near the end of your video.
@@drakeconsumerofsoulsandche4303 I aduibly Bruh'd. That, as an italian, is in no way shape or form the Italian anthem lol. Just because it's an Italian song doesn't mean it's the anthem. Especially considering the song is literally fascist.
@Banana_BOI1 yeah I apologise for that, I just assumed SLMB used that nations national anthem in the intro. If you have more info about it though, I'm happy to learn
@@drakeconsumerofsoulsandche4303 idk why my reply keeps on being erased but the actual song is “Mussolini Drip” (based on “Vogliamo Scolpire su una lapide”)
@@sealordmountbatten Thank you, getting rdy to do a reset (first time). Been trying to save up Credits and XP. If you have no ships in that line, is it still the cheapest? I was looking to do the US cruiser line, as I have the Des Moines there.
