Me as well. I've been laughing maniacally this whole game xD! I've been following you for years now, I don't even know how many(either way, more than 7). But I am glad I finally made you laugh, old chap!

soon as he mentioned catchphrases, the title was all i needed to know where this episode was going. and to think just a couple videos ago, people thought jingles was still a child at the mention of the ship Brest. he obviously felt the need to prove them right 😂

When Jingles said it's a phrase that he's known for and hasn't said in a while, I thought it was going to be "if it's stupid but it works, it's not stupid".

Regarding the "afk" Benson, I noticed that he was moving about a minute after battle begins. There's a thing Warships does for me every so often where it sits there in the loading screen for far longer than it should, and I can't get in until like a minute or two after it starts. I'm not sure if it's because of RAM deciding not to work, or crap internet for a moment, but if it happens to one person, it could happen to anyone, so it's entirely possible that that's what's going on there. It's only so noticeable and anger-inducing because he's a Destroyer and he needs to get into his position as quickly as he can.

Does anyone else pause the screen just to make sure your not an “NPC” in the video about to be shamed?

I recently got DC'd just as a battle was starting. I wasn't able to reconnect, and it would have appeared to the rest of the team as if I was AFK. I have no idea if any of them reported me, but the game itself noted that I didn't move at all during the battle, and the next time I logged in I got a message saying that due to 'Unsporting Conduct', or words to that effect, I would be 'pink' for the next 5 battles providing there were no more infringements. So, as Jingles rightly points out, there is no need for players to jump up and down if they perceive someone to be AFK as the game has its own mechanism for dealing with such cases.

2:56 best ship to have to run from game, and be kind of AFK, Schlieffen. Had to leave a match at start today, set way points, and ran off, came back to 23k damage and dead, but yeah, not many other ships can do that.

This is why Jingles is my favorite WOWS RU-vidr. He sure knows how to make your day!

Regarding that Benson who supposedly was AFK at the start of the match. Besides the game crashing and having to restart, he could also have an older machine (like I do) and be taking ages to just get into the match.

@Jingles: you have the maturity and humor of a 17yr old Army enlisted recruit I hope it's the "persona" you are trying for, cause you nailed it. (Haven't laughed that hard since I was on FTX in the Army with a squad of such "jackanapes")

Gotta hand it to the Gato player, wants people to report the Benson player for being afk yet precedes to die in a 4 way grouping of enemy ships by their own doing. Right...learn to play your ships people...instead of blaming others for your lack of knowledge as well as no map awareness whatsoever. Sigh...I see the 2012 World of tanks community transferred over to World of Warships, fun times lol. Jingles, what you was saying about being AFK, I was in a battle whereby I was reported for being AFK, when actually I was playing. The last stages of the match, I went to cap their base in a storm, visibility 8km, a team mate called me out for being AFK. At the end back in port WG sent a message, I didn't receive any credits absolutely nothing + a 3 battle of being pink. Work that out.

A few things about AFK teammates: when I played, I would often experience some kind of load-in glitch where I'd be stuck on the pre-battle screen but I could hear teammates' horns. It's possible but not confirmed that a gentle sideswipe from a friendly would sometimes clear the bug. But sometimes the match wouldn't load for up to a full minute and I'd have to rush to catch up. Once, I had to take an important phone call just as a match started (I goofed by logging in under those circumstances). I was playing my Kongou, so I set 3/4 ahead, plotted a course thru the center to the enemy cap (standard battle), and typed in chat, "I'm gonna be AFK the whole battle, use me as bait." I wouldn't recommend making a habit of that, but I netted non-humiliating XP, my secondaries did over 2000 damage (probably including fires), and the ship survived. It was definitely better than just walking away. And my team won. The people blaming the Benson for the collapse of the entire NW flank got off easy, they deserve a solid Jingles tongue-lashing for being a bunch of infallible little tryhard snowflakes who think their teammates' job is to "support" them from across the map, through islands, and despite their obvious and imminent sinking due to their own incompetence. And may the fleas of a thousand camels infest their armpits.

It's only "BB caliber" SAP that's limited to overpen damage on DDs. The pasta cruisers can (and are kinda meant to) absolutely slap DDs with their SAP. I think the new supercruiser won't, though, it's guns are large enough to be overpen only.

The Benson probably isn't AFK. He's probably just not been loaded into the game by the shitty WG servers. Has happened personally to me MANY times and I've witnessed it many times too, the first (usually up to 2 mins - sometimes for the whole battle), you are just staring at the battle loading screen, unable to take part, but you can see ships being destroyed. It's also pretty much the only reason you are turned pink now that friendly fire has been removed. In fact, if you look, about 2ish mins in, the Benson starts to move.

This video was only missing a certain french heavy cruiser and also an unfare plane to kemp in bush and be a violet stet peddler.
