Personally, and I know this will give me lots of hate, I say that the Smolensk is worse than the Jinan. Same idea but Jinan is basically a Torp DD on top for the cost of the hydro and floaty shells. (I am a Torp DD and cruiser Main, so maybe that explains it.)😅

Skill issue

Having a WWII sub outdo a modern Sea Wolf under water is disheartening to say the least. How many games have I played run from the U_4501 as a lone BB are legion.

Nothing beats slamming into an island or a dead ship to slow you down (because a 2.5k ton DD is enough to stop a 70+k ton BB going 28 knots instantly)

@@Renegade1987. I've killed lots of subs after the rework, especially if they ping. And there are now a lot more cruisers with submarine surveillance. But 4501s are much harder to catch.

Funny. I was one of those U-4501s. But I was constantly on the surface. Only diving to avoid detection. And ended up as a combat scout for the team. Yes I had to be the replacement spotter for my team. DD went pantload on us. But it was worth it. 3 caps too. 3rd place in rank. (My Yamato and Colombo ally carried the rest.)

I find Musashi still worse since its JBs nemesis on T9 if you count old BBs. Sadly, most T9s just get clapped by Supershits so its way harder to play those. I liked that Tier the most but yeah..

At last someone mentions what the Z44 can do with a torp build. It's pretty wild. I love my Z44.

Jean Bart is almost God-tier when set up with a secondary build in Asymetric Battles.

So true when a DD tries to sneak up on you from behind, and your secondary just "farts" them to oblivion...

You consider Johan an OP premium? At best Johan is slightly underpowered at its tier, especially if you’re a silly billy and force it into a secondary build. Johan has to compete against well established busted t9 battleships like Georgia and Musashi. Even Jean Bart can kinda just walk all over it. And Rhode Island, sure it’s a strong ship but it has little real battle impact due to its role as another long range HE spamming battleship/battlecruiser. Sure it’s strong but I mean, Wisconsin is more survivable, slava can absolutely obliterated RI (I’m speaking from personal experience in this case) Bourgogne has better armour and a reload booster. To be honest I’d still rather play Georgia than RI because of its better accuracy and overmatch. And id rather play conqueror if I wanna just sit at the back of the map and spam HE.

@@mcgee9777 Correct. I just got the Johan had 1 game and got wrecked. 15k battles here and i see the RI has an above average ship similar to Bourg, Mecklan, Montana. Wisconsin is by far the best BB in the game as of now. Its like profile of a Petro, guns accuracy like Slava, damage like a Yamato, tanky like a Kremlin. I find the Thunderer and Maine slightly better then the rest besides Wisc.

@@axeya366 I find Whisky to be extremely powerful due to it's Cruiser Dispersion on 406mm Guns... almost to the point of being broken. then you add in the factor of funny button, it's broken in the right hands. I'm not good at aiming but I been managing 150+k games in Whisky while my average has been mostly 40-60k, the most I done though was 255k.

Jean Bart is IX on PC my man

While I can agree Musashi is better than Jean Bart, I really can't on Georgia. Sure you've got 30mm overmatch, with the same base reload as Jean Bart, with lower sigma than Jean Bart, meaning that once both factions accuracy mods are in play, Jean is still more accurate, only Jean has more guns and that reload booster shouldn't be underestimated. With only losing a little HP Jean Bart can put out 24 shells in around the same time Georgia can put out 12 while not having to expose herself the way Georgia has to. Georgia isn't even in the top 5 performing T9 BBs, Jean Bart is number 3. Of course though Musashi is number 1 and it's not even close. Musashi has better average stats than Yamato, how that ship hasn't been ether nerfed or just moved to T10 already I have no idea.

Classic JB (and Bourger): You either hit the most insane salvo's or nothing at all But tbf I find it great as I'm pretty used to its balistics. I suck at JP ships tho ^^ Not my type in terms of ballistics

I'm having this experience as well, but I only have a few games in her so far so it is most likely just me being bad. I think I just need to get used to the very different playstyle of the Marceau. I'm more used to knife fighting DDs.

@@garystew2077 I played the Marceau till I had a 21p Captain. She doesn't knife fight well with other Destroyers. The guns feel week. There is so much spotting and ships running to the flanks that she can't exploit those openings. I found the Marceau struggled to do anything meaningful or impactful in a random battle.

@@8RedBear5 Agree with you all. I am a dd main and struggle in Marceau. There is currently a trade in event where you CAN trade in Marceau and get something else. See the Armory.

You cannot straight buy it for any resource.
