@@angelamagnus6615Im not a cv expert but for low tier carriers i guess focusing on mastering cv basics so you don't suffer too much at high tiers and start planning for captain skills. For xp i guess put on economics and special signals but i advise you to put both on and focus your grind when you have premium day. But if you dont have a lot of signals i suggest you only put it on when on prem day. So just play regularly during standard account
Fun fact: Yamato shells (AP) weight 1460kg each one. X 9 it makes something like 13.140 tons of lead. Shimakaze DD total displacement full load was 3300 long tons. When you shoot a full salvo with your Yamato at an enemy Shimakaze, you are literally shooting the amount of 4 DDs in the air, at an average speed of Mach 1.5. And the result is "ricochet". LOL.
Fantastic. Thank you for uploading and I can’t express how refreshing it is to find solid replays without some snotty nosed dweeb providing commentary. You sir, just earned a subscriber.
I've recently been on a Warship kick after finding the old dogfight episodes on RU-vid (specifically the ones about the Yamato sinking and the Bismarck). I got an ad for this game having never played it and was intrigued. When the first shot kicked off at 1:58 I got chills dude
It really was. But at that point in the war when it was sunk even if it was double the size and everything it would go down at one point because Americans dominated the Pacific
Real one was as strong as this one but was attacked and killed by multiple CV s no ships encounter yamato in its last stand hundreds of planes sunk her
Bro took 2 hard hits... someone ramming the shit outta him, took 39k damage from a Yamato salvo bow side and survived. That's a true example of being a gigachad.
Stupid question, so forgive me. I'm currently building a Yamato and I'm about 75% done. When it's done, do i get it automatically, ot do i still have to purchase? I'm currently at teir 4 Japanese Battleship. Will it show up as an option to play at tier 7, or do I still have to spend a billion zene to get it still? Thanks.
I had 6 today with class V battleship so I'm not impressed, but nice ship though.. can't wait until I get it, I've been playing a couple weeks now. See ya!
i wish i played with people who will sail broadside to my musashi, but instead they run away cuz they cant pen me while i can pen their nose (Esp tier 9 games)
if only the real yamato fought like this in ww2 but in reality yamato hasnt sink any single ship. but maybe she sink uss gambier bay in battle of samar.

Trust me, if you position correctly and move throughout the game in a way that puts you in a good position, you can have all the broadsides you want. The beauty of the yamato as well is if you get a broadside youre gonna score some citadels. The ship rewards good play. I get 160k+ damage every other game, and I very rarely get under 100k in it.
@@semi-skimmedmilk4480 congrats if that works for you, as i am very visible with it i feel like i'm sitting duck and perhaps it takes practice but i find it hard to hit beyond 20km, they seam to dodge quite well. i find it way easier to score damage with the amagi for example.
@@vdshelena The yamato has slower and fewer shells than the Amagi, so it's harder to hit the enemy. You'll also be playing against better players in the Yamato so they'll be harder to hit in general. You want to be sitting under around 20km away from the enemy and firing on broadside BBs. If a cruiser starts camping or gets too close, fire on them. You can overwatch the bow of cruisers, so that tends to scare them off if they fall out of line. In terms of hitting cruisers at long range- heavy cruisers like the yoshino and des moines... etc are easy to hit at the 18km mark. If you score hits on them when they're not paying attention, citadels are common. For light cruisers youre gonna have a harder time. The slow shell speed makes them very easy to dodge, although often you can take a light cruiser by surprise as they are normally holding shift the entire game! To be good in the Yamato you actually need to pay attention to when you miss and when you hit, realise what you did wrong or right and then experiment with your aim. It is the battleship players BB - it hits hard, accurately, and can damage anything consistently. It is quite tanky as well if you angle correctly. You will get punished if you show too much broadside or push too early, but will be rewarded if you are decent in a BB.
@@vdshelena oooh I see haha nice 👌 Just remember- you won't do much damage if you die early. So make sure you're close enough to hit the enemy but not close enough that they can hurt you too much. Get as much concealment as possible. You can get yamato down to 14.1km, so if you do get focused just stop firing and reverse away. You will go invisible. A Yamato can delete enemy ships, but your main job is to seek out broadsides, fire carefully and do tons of damage with each salvo, then let your team finish the enemy off with HE (if you citadel a cruiser for example, let your cruisers know so they can finish the job). You won't get many kills but you'll end up at the top of the leaderboard every time by a long way!
