Long before he showed some skirt he should have died to the shima without ever seeing him. That shima threw harder than all his efforts combined. Yes the Moskva should have got him 3 times over, showing your cheek to a conq could be argued as a calculated risk. The conq coming out broadside to a previously spotted nose in Yamato was much worse. Because he was nose in you could forgive his choice in ammunition but broadside no, absolutely not. That said when you’re aggressive in a battleship people on the enemy team usually forget how to think. I applaud him going in and going for the objective, tucking in behind the island when he was broadside to the Monty was also good. What he should have done after that is angle out and turn away angling to both the Monty and the Moskva and aim at the upper bow of the Moskva. Most Yamato’s would have never gone into the cap, would have run away to group with the rest of the team and been hunted down by that shima. So credit where it’s due.
A quick check shows that Leisure_Shoot is actually a pretty experienced player with a above-average PR (1400+) rating and is actually unicum level status for the last few weeks. So while Jingles was seeing mistakes, others might see calculated aggression.
@@EqualizerLNF Not sure exactly what you are 'on' about with that comment, but if you mean he only has a 49% WR at tier 10 that is not all that surprising even at 6k games. Keep in mind that Jingles has only played about 1k games in WOWS and his t10 stats are probably much worse. He hasn't played in so long though that you can't even see his individual ship level stats anymore. Also if you want to look at 'specific' stats Leisure_Shoot has a 51.5% WR in the Yamato with 1390 PR and that is not anywhere near the epic level of noob that Jingles tried to saddle him with here. No what we have here gentlemen is the typical scenario where a media person tries to find an angle at which to make his story more interesting. I just don't buy into it. Sorry.
@@Pcwarmachine While this might've been exaggerated for the purpose of entertainment and teaching (not only this particular Yamato is watching the video), everything Jingles said still stands. Leisure_Shoot should've died during multiple instances in this game. Maybe he was distracted and/or dealing with something else, but no WR or PR excuses all those "calculated" misplays.
I was the friendly Stalingrad in that match. Yeah, Leisure really did do well that match and was a big part of why we won. The arguments in chat were pretty funny as well, LOL.
Iv watched this channel long enough to know one thing and one thing only about Yamato class. "Don't flash your cheeks, because they will get clapped" You may fire when ready.

The same goes to "It's possible to do great but still lose, it's also possible to do badly but still wins" there is no common sense in WOWS. I once have a rank game where I kill 4 but still lost and I also has a battle where I die in the first minutes but the team still wins.

We need to crowdfund the Yamato theme's license for Jingles to use! A Yamato without its theme, is like an american without a gun, or a russian without vodka!
Yes, as an American I can confirm there is a gun on at least every street block. Also from travels, I can confirm vodka comes straight from the tap in Russia
@@SoggyCoffeeAddict Well, vodka does mean water in Russian. (Diminutive foim but who cares.) One of the more useful things the anime Mnemosyne has taught me.
@@ShaggyPWN It's a minimum only found in areas with acute Freedom shortages. I'm sure there are places in Russia where there are no working taps and the Russians have to get bottled vodka shipped in. :)

I love the fact that when Jingles gives advise, you know it’s not because he’s a god at the game...it’s because he’s made those mistakes a thousand times too 😂
I'm a simple lad. I see Yamato, I click. Then I feel clickbated with the Shimakaze clip lmao edit: I could not watch past the 5 minute mark because of the scroll zooming
I did manage to finish the video, mostly thanks to occasionally closing my eyes to offset the scrollzoom nausea. That rapid in-out zooming is about the most useless thing ever (and yeah, it's getting more common in Jingles' vids unfortunately.) Just stop it already, people, you're doing nobody any good at all.
Thanks for this advice. That will help me get better with Mr yamato. To be honest, I struggle to know where ships weak spots are. But watching your videos sure helps. Keep up the good work. Greetings from Norway where the Tirpitz rests
I recommend you go into the armor viewer and just look at the bow of every t10 cruiser and BB. Do it once a week or so until you start to remember where to shoot and where not to.
Just trying to imagine the excitement that Leisure_shoot felt seeing his replay being featured.... and then the crushing disappointment as he continued watching. F’s in chat boys
@@DukeofLithuania Except that Jingles is not as good a player as this guy so it's also humorous from that pov. I mean... this guy has 6k games with average damage of 50k+ to Jingles 37k. Not that Jingles gave any awful advice here, but the knowledge he is passing on was gleaned from watching others play, not his own experience. It's always helpful to remember how actual few games he has played of this game, vs. number of commentaries on others gameplay. For example I watch a lot of Oddbawz WT videos lately and have learned a ton of things about the game from that. So I could make a video critiquing someone playing WT as well and pass on that knowledge. That is most of what is happening here.
@@Pcwarmachine Stephen Hawking wouldn't be great at throwing a basketball through a hoop, it doesn't mean you shouldn't listen to him give a lecture on the physics of it.
I was just about to say this myself as it is one of the best things you could spend your coal on if there's alot of coal burning through your pocket. 314 xp and fxp is no joke when used in clan battles with the correct flags.
@@crizit9505 I also like that we can buy the Hunter camo from the Hunt for Bismarck collection. Not only are its benefits decent but I also like the way it looks.
My b my b, but even with 314 cxp and fxp its still higher than most normal camo, that includes the german red and black one which gives you 100%xp and 200%fxp. Speaking of which I highly recommend you to buy the camos for the german event instead of the ships packages themselves since these are not very good ships anyways, having more fxp (camos) is always nice when you need to reset a line or buy a good fxp ship.
Ah, a BB replay where the player is pushing in a BB and isn't sitting at 20km relying on deadeye to farm dmg. I know it was just a 7v7 and he got away too many times making mistakes but still 😅
I'm always the bb that pushes in, soon as an enemy dd pops up everyone with me does a 180 a runs leaving me, not much I can do once committed to the push. Friendly bb's are the worst about running. Today it's been like that all day.
@@markrogers7304 Pushing in is generally a bad idea. I have no idea why everyone seems to repeat that "BBs should push". No, 9/10 times, they absolutely shouldnt. That 1/10 times sure, but the absolute vast majority of players cant time that right. And if you push, you are absolutely not supposed to go in first in a BB, that's generally the DDs job. The defender has the advantage in this game, and and push needs to be very thought through. If you push "always", I reckon you might over time be a detriment to your team.
Learned it the hard way a long time ago... only take eating citidels while angled to relize the weak point. Unless you are one of those guys that screams hacks every time it happens.. most of us have atleast seen that once.
Clearly the guy did know. He just took a calculated risk to get positioning on the Moskva to flank him (and avoid getting rammed). If you want to criticize him more accurately his early shots on the Moskva were poorly aimed or a bad aim period. Or he could have taken a different tact to flank the Moskva. That said I think it's hilarious that we are all taking the pov from Jingles with 650+ games and a 1350PR that a 6K+ game 1400+ PR player is just a noob who had a lucky game in the Yamato. Very entertaining. :D
@@lofiloop9124 It's terribly inefficient, but just as importantly, it's uncomfortable to watch. It creates an almost vertigo-like feeling. I know when Flamu does replay commentary, he outright refuses to watch replays with scroll-zooming.
That and Yuro's inspirational Kongo video is what's compelled me to start hanging out in the mid-tiers. People are still just as dumb, but some of them have valid excuses for being dumb and the ships tend to not be powerful enough to delete or burn down someone for making one mistake.

Oh mysterious, bearded grandfather to many, you missed a perfect opportunity " im not trying to rob you, I'm trying to help you" wouldve been a signoff to remember
You keep calling those 20Km torps "noob tubes", I'm calling them "camper busters" and have been successfully using them ever since I've got this wonderful troll destroyer (that would be over 3 years by now). They work even better now after the CV rework coupled with the more recent Dead Eye debacle, you get plenty of battleships and cruisers cuddled together stationary or barely moving wherever they think they're safe and with 20Km torps you can flank them way out of radar range. Doesn't really matter if they see the torps coming, most of them will be unable to move out of the way fast enough (some don't even try, thinking they're far enough for the torps to run out of stem before reaching their position, I'm constantly accused of "hacking" because of this).
Thing is, even if you make em work against guys sitting up to 20kms away, you are arent taking out high value targets. That sniping enemy Thunderer is usually not actively contributing to a win by doing that.
@@samuelhakansson6680 Campers come in all shapes and sizes and not all of them stay on the far side of the map. If you've been playing for as long as I did you kinda know where to expect people hiding out of sight and there are plenty of opportunities to take out high value targets with a stealthy torpedo spammer, like destroyers or cruisers camping inside smoke screens or people sailing on predictable routes towards a cap or some popular camping spot. Long range stealth doesn't mean farming pointless damage, just a more unconventional way of doing things, I'm spotting and taking caps just as much as other destroyers (if not more than average) and every couple of games I'm taking a gun kill as well.
@@kurumi394 Glorious, thank you! If only RU-vid copyright system allowed it if you credited the copyright holder with a tag in the description like for game and genre... No, that's too easy! Then anyone with a legitimate copyright could have a link there to a where to buy site for that particular music piece.
Something else I notice is, it looks as if LeisureShoot is hitting his LMB or fire key so hard they're jerking their mouse and throwing off their aim. Some days I worry about the life span of my own computer's WASD keys the way I hold them down... but a light touch on the mouse is crucial if you're aiming.
Lessons to learn here today: 1. Watch the chat and mini-map often to keep an eye out for team-mates cooldowns so you know when they can/can't use them. 2. Moskva is an asshole, aim a little higher than you normally would using a Yamato. 3. Nose in against anything with smaller guns than you when using Yamato. 4. Vary course and speed if you have any reason to believe a destroyer with torps is around. Two good tips for anyone, and two more specific to the main ship being featured. Excellent video today.
I would like to add: Pressing shift will instantly zoom in your camera to the fullest, or fully out when you're zoomed in. This saves you time compared to scrolling, so you can shoot faster after you've zoomed and lets you look around your ship more quickly after having fired.
Wait there is a backline with the 20km torps? Lol, have done this once.. just one giant wall of undogable death.. we clapped 1 dd and 1 bb, crippled another bb
This is why there is new life in the Asashio these days 😂 Note: Asashio is still the only ship I bagged First Blood sinking enemy CV without ever seeing it 😉
So a BB pushes, the lines, with back up, tanks 1.3m dmg, and swings the battle for the team. If he had stayed in the back and sniped, you would have balled about that too. Great play for a BB, I'd run with him any day of the week. Given those exact angles, I bet you still would not have sank him if you were on the Moskva or the Conqueror. You are still the arrogant, play my way or you suck Monday quarterback Jingles.
That was me, LOL. Yes, I was backing up into the cap(rather than bow on) since I didn't know what the Conq was going to do and was low health. I didn't know at the time that the Conq was was just potatoing and was showing broadside to the Yama.
Yeah Jingles, everybody has to learn, but he is not in the Kongo, he is in the Yamato (not the ARP Yamato) I would say that he had plenty of time to learn. Also 6k battles. He just had all the damn luck in the damn world, all the fkn luck that I don't have with my Yamato and made me leave her in the port almost permanently.
Granted he made a few mistakes. I do give him a ton of credit though for playing a BB like it should be...getting stuck in & being aggressive. In the current meta of BB's taking their massive HP pools and being rewarded for hugging the rear map boarder, this sort of gameplay is nice to see, even if it's a bit shaky at times.
I can't believe after years of taking a break from all the world of tanks word of war ships. it makes me happy to see that after all this time and all that has happened your still chilling making quality videos. good job
0:40 Why does that Simakaze commander not have survivability? Its only 3 points, you can even get it with just the credit training, because you don't really have a tier 10 with a zero point commander. Unless he is retraining him I guess...
i really want to try this game. i love your vids but im a little intimidated to play. for someone who is currently downloading the game for the first time does anyone have any pointers? again VERY new so world of warships for dummies is what im looking for. anyway love the commentaries keep it up!!!
Why didn't you call him Larry? Yeah his user name is Leisure Suit. All I thought of was Leisure Suit Larry as what he is referring to. Big miss. Almost as big as some of the mistakes he made in that ship.
Great video. I would love to send a video of probably one of my best battles in a dd but unfortunately I do not know how to record battles that I have done
I agree entirely with your assessment of his game Jingles, however I would add that it's realistic to expect that someone playing since the beta to know about the Yamato cheeks and the Moskva icebreaker. Had he been less fortunate, knowledge of those things might have made the difference. It's also strange that he hasn't every pressed the shift key in all his years of playing.
Holy SHIT. Ive only realized once the video was basically over, but did you see his Concealment ? Its completely unmodified. What on earth is his build ? He has neither the module nor the Captain skill. So im guessing hes also not running Deadeye...on a Yamato.....
@@phantomJK But then why play ranked in at minimum silver league in it ? that is however the only reasonable explanation i could come up with as well. Edit: I couldnt resist. 300 battles in yammy. It doesnt make sense to me.
Indeed! "... speak pretty good English" is no guarantee that a video comes from the NA server! Oh, the horrors on English I have seen in chat, text messages, and email. Even from the so-called college educated!
lol did "Mister Royal Navy" Jingles forget places in europe like that little island off the french coast where pretty much everyone speaks a variation of english? I mean, just because they left the european union doesn't mean they cannot play WoWS on the EU Server :D
You are wrong about the 20km range torpedoes, they are excellent for digging out island huggers. I sent you a replay a while back of what can be done using them. 🙂
Suprise torpedo sex.... That what I call it. Simply by studying the map you can predict where ships travel and you put torps in the water very early to surprise the enemy. It works rather well with enough fish in the water.
As I commented on someone else who misses the Yamato introduction: If only RU-vid copyright system allowed it if you credited the copyright holder with a tag in the description like for game and genre... No, that's too easy! Then anyone with a legitimate copyright could have a link there to a where to buy site for that particular music piece. BTW: I hope the Yamato player got his lottey cupón that day, because all the deities where smiling then!
I once had the pleasure to end up in front of a smoked up Smolensk and get under air attack from a US CV(?) something with AP dive bombers in a Stalingrad. Went back to port really, really, really fast...
To be fair a lot of players aren’t going to take the time to learn armor layout and armor schemes like some of us. He had a good game and learned some lessons. Take it easy on him yall😂
Well, Jingles, since you were talking so much about human decency and manners in recent videos, here's my biggest issue: It's ok to make mistakes, it happens to all of us. It's also ok to be unaware of a teammates particular situation, because you weren't paying enough attention to it, and subsequently ask him to do something he is unable to do. That too happens to the best. What is not ok is to do that in a condescending tone, chastising him for what you falsly perceive as an error - and then not even apologising for it. This is exactly the kind of conduct that makes Ranked Battles the most toxic environment in WoWS. So here's my advice to Leisure_Shoot: The phrase "oh sry" consists of only 5 letters. Just use them, and with very little effort you can vastly improve the gaming experience of everyone.
Welcome to the internet, where you dedicate a video to helping someone improve and consistently get better results and you get slammed for being toxic. Well played, Internet. Well played.
@@The_MightyJingles I think there is a misunderstanding. I wasn't trying to say that *you* were being toxic. Why would i ever? I was referring to Leisure_Shoot saying "WTF Stalin, radar the Shima" in chat. Perhaps i should have made that clearer, my bad i guess. I absolutely do appreciate you trying to help someone improve. I am in fact doing the same, just in a different field. The point i'm trying to make is actually very similar to the one you were making about social behaviour (or lack thereof) in WoW.
is anyone actully sitting and spending time looking at the armor layout for every ship they have themself? i mean WTF! i play/played for fun and theres no way IN HELL that i would spend time sitting and looking at the armor. if your hardcore player sure i get it. but if your just weekend player why?
Rarely. Only if I faced a ship in battle and wondered how I did no dmg. Like me in Lenin facing a khaba at close range. Wondered how he managed to bounce all my shells... that’s how I learned that khaba has an icebreaker bow...
There are people like that, but I guess they are the top of the top or youtubers doing vids. You don't need to learn every ships' armor layout to be effective tbh. You can learn all that shit just by playing.
Whatever you're doing with your thumbnails its good. I can nearly always pick your videos out of a lineup and they're the first videos I watch everyday.
One of his most played ships is the friggin v25 in tier 2 lol... Whenever he fails at high tier he goes sealclubbing in tier 2 to make himself feel better. What an absolute stud!
LMAO ...........20km torps. ARE NOT as bad as you think Jingles. I use them quite a lot. And do very very well in my Shima. Better then the alternative.. Getting radared to death constantly.
Heck of game. I'll just say that one of the first thing's I learned watching your channel, before I was even playing WOWS was the weakness of the Mushashi and Yamato cheeks. I'm going to give our Brother in Arms the benefit of a doubt here and say that in the heat of battle, sometimes you just have a brain-fart doing things you actually "know" you shouldn't: Yesterday, I was in the Roon and we got a BB in DD trouble, in my hurry to support, sailed in a straight line broadside to a DE Missouri visible at 20K. The result was predictable, but nothing I didn't already "know" would happen.
Leisure Shoot.............that was a great game. Don't listen to Jingle All the Way. He nevah got so many Damage Points. Loved your run to gain the Cap. Loved the Goliath Hammer. Loved the guns on the hidey Shimmy. Loved the Moskva Delete. Loved the Bow Blown Montana.........you da Man!!! Team Hero!
Ah Jingles...don't be so Hard on the dude. I play ships too and am an average player. We play for the chance to have a game like that. It was a good game because it showed somebody's lucky game. In regards to the Shima mini-replay, I once had an experience like that in my SOMERS, it is a good feeling at high tier DD after all the 5h1t we have to put up with (i.e. RADAR, Soviet Ships, CVs etc.) Anyways, stay well. Later
Oh the hypocrisy... "I don't wanna be mean I wanna help you..." yeah my ass. Has no problem pointing fingers at anyone and making fun of them. Just like in the Shima replay. You are laughing at the cruisers for "sailing in straight lines" and "not using their hydro" but totally forget those were pre-emptive aka random torps fired way before they were spotted. Also those ships tried to rush into position and save on hydro for when they ACTUALLY NEED IT. 0/10 hindsight as always. And about the Yama. He is BAD. This guy doesn't know how to aim, how to angle, has 0 map awereness, 0 situation awereness and using scroll zooming. He should go back to t6 and learn the game properly. This result was only thanks to pure luck and dumb enemies.
"Everybody else, go easy on him in the comments, okay? Everyone has to learn somewhere." Yes, because Ranked is definitely where you want to learn how to play your ship for the first time. 🙄 And yeah, Leisure was pretty spud-like this fight. 300k damage is definitely impressive, but he owes it to being in a Yammy and having opponents that were even more potato-fied than he was. Also, if this is the NA server, I think I'm going to proactively blacklist that user NOENDWAR, who just would not shut up in chat. What a toxic ass.
Oooof... that last Conqueror... Don't know how many enemy BBs i've bitchslapped because i had changed ammo-type! Running tank-build on mine, and when they thought they had me i push the "R" button, swings the ass out and devstrike them ;)
