It happens. The squadron had been hit pretty hard by AA before the drop, and that can throw the torps way off. I see it in my Arizona all the time, to the point I just ignore CV planes unless I'm getting swarmed.

Not just you. Audio stream is out of sync by 2-3 seconds. Broadside fired at 8.56, and the sound is heard at 8.58

If the cruisers are dying like flies... perhaps it is the cruiser positioning that might be the problem ;P

​@@solardwagon1526 Cruisers can't afford to sit in open waters (a.k.a. spawn), they have to get into some kind of position. If the team's battleships refuse to engage, that means the cruisers are the ones being shot at with no chance to effectively return fire. Same with destroyers. If they stay back, they get cussed at for not capping. If they contest the caps without the cruisers backing them up, they get nuked. BBs are the backbone of the team. If they refuse engagement, the rest of the team suffers.

@@Zorglub1966 That's why I play brawling battleships. It takes away the option to sit back and plink. If I want to do damage, I have to get stuck in. Also brawling is way more fun and I have no idea why more people don't do it.

@@Ralph-yn3gr just not as effective in the current meta. Compared to the post batle results you can get at safer distances, the benefits of brawling are unrewarded at best

They didn't. Fire burns 5 seconds and 1% hp per tick. If DCP is ready, it will be triggered to negate that, but as you don't control it, you can't wait until it matters. DCP on a CV is a long action/protect time, but if it is on cooldown, you can, and will, most certainly burn and flood just like any other ship.

@@MrCribba76 which is the ARP Yamato player. Who actually has over 2000 battles and is division Ed with a rank 1 player.

@@grassnake7able Rank doesn't really mean anything, the ARP player is a 44.9%(952PR) player which is pretty much terrible, not the worst but well below average. Rank is simply an application of rng and time to achieve, even the rank 1 player is only 54.1%(1530) which while good and well above average is nowhere near super unicum.

@@Dorkrust The point is that reality is quite different than what Jingles said in this video. There’s a massive discrepancy between what he claimed the players battles played and his actual record. Knowing Jingles he probably checked the wrong players profile.

@@MattiaNichelatti Yeah sweet jesus that was a TERRIBLE CV player. Not only did he not watch the map and just sit there waiting to die via Massa he also had no idea on the drop timer on ANY of his planes. Considering it's a Kaga B hints they may have gotten the Kaga via crates and never played CVs before. Considering the Kaga is the SECOND most broken CV in the game (it has MASSIVE reserves for planes, so much so that if you're even remotely sensible with your target selection, you'll easily have full flights close to the games end or at least 2 drops worth) and currently the only one still available for purchase since they removed the Enterprise. The only downside on the Kaga vs the Enterprise is that the Enterprise has an insane plane regen rate whilst the Kaga has a truly awful one, meaning if you derp out and lose squadron after squadron you're going to be having like 1-2 planes per flight by the end of the match. The Enterprise, meanwhile, has good enough reserves and the high plane regen rate meaning you can literally just throw planes away without having to care. I say this as someone who plays CVs, the Kaga just feels DIRTY compared to other CVs. There's been cases where I've taken out the Torp bombers right at the start of the match and just shaved 30k off of a BB with 2 torp runs, sometimes more if he floods, repairs, and then I score a flood again.

Came to comments to say the same. The dunker-who video was the same the other day and I just put it down to me using mobile data. Two in a row now means it's probably something about the way the video is uploading

It gets progressively worse as the video goes on which likely means the sample rate of the audio track is different to the project sample rate. If he has the project set to 44.1khz and the audio track is 48khz it will go more and more out of sync the longer the video goes on
