Not an easy thing to dominate Galvao from the start and actually get the tap. I am very impressed with Rodolfo, he is both super strong and incredibly talented. A force to be reckoned with.
Wow tapped out Andre Galvao! A shining talent equal to none second only perhaps to Buchecha, though I think Rodolfo is better overall. All best wishes to him!
+Jacob K I've rolled with Galvao, his guard is exceptionally technically sound, what it isn't is very complex. He plays a few positions extremely well. I'm not surprised it took Rodolfo that long, Galvao is one of the best in the world even if his game isn't super flashy.
Jiu Jitsu is simple and beatifull from Rodolfo. Just stay on top, pressure, pass the guard, submit. Galvao is a beast but he is not guard player - he is too short for this weight to play other guard effectively than half guard
Rodolfo, juicebag or not, is fun to watch. And don't kid yourselves. Dude is on the juice. But since it's not illegal in these tournaments, have at it if that's your thing.
But let's say he is on the juice. It's not illegal in these tourneys and anyone can use them. So, why wouldn't Galvao use them since it's legal and Vieria and everyone else may be usng them. The rules are even for all. No Excuses. So if someone claim a foul, there isnt one. They are a tool available to everyone like protein and other stuff which make or helps in recovery. Also, Vieira is unbeatable unless you name is Buchecha which is his Kryptonite.
+WestChesterMike Agreed, tired of the same old shit ' he's on juice ' stories without any factual evidence to substantiate the claim. The man is the exception to the rule, Almeida too, when it comes to BJJ.
