Wow, I spent 30 years fly fishing the High Sierra's in Mammoth, California and surrounding area and never imagined Brook Trout got so big. Thanks for sharing! Next time you go up there take a fly rod with you, I think you will fall in love with the action.
Nothing’s more stunning in Gods creation than of a woman who can work along side a man & be successful fishing or hunting! You’re beautiful inside & out Carlee!!!!
"go to your happy place"... love it girl. My happy place is with my girls on the boat, doing what you're doing with your daddy. When my girls say "can we go hit the cove"? Yeah, we're going to the cove. You never forget those moments.
Great video! I have been watching your show/videos for years. Love the fact that you enjoy the whole experience including taking a few home for dinner! To many shows are all about the trophy fish, fishing has become very commercialized in recent years. Keep up the great work!
you are so lucky to have the opportunity to fisf these awesome waters, im happy to catch a 12" brookie here in Virginia. Beautiful fish thanks for the video! enjoy your shows and thanks for the knowledge you share. god bless
My biggest brook trout was 6 pounds 12 ounces. Up within the 100 mile wilderness starting in Monmouth, Maine. all native up in there. some of the best trout fishing i have ever done. #Maineforlife
Wow! I love brooktrout fishing here in Montana. My secret bait is worms on a bait holder. The brookies you're catching are bigger than the browns I catch in the Missouri and Sun Rivers. 19 1/2 inches. The brookies 4 inches up to a pound. Rare two pounder. My daughter is 37 and lives 3000 miles away in Florida. Hope I can go fishing with her this summer. Maybe in Texas.
love you BABE, i will be up at gathering lake for 4 weeks this year it would be very cool to run into you there as you are a hero of mine, good fishing
Been there 2x,beautiful giant lake/big powerful river. Steelhead,Kings & Choho were in the river also. Nothing over 18" but some old local told us to come in April,he gets some over 10lbs every year.
Largest I caught is my personal best haven't come close since. West Kennebec. Maine. 3.12 pounds. Made my life fly fishing. Been doing it since I self taught myself around 1980.
great video. here in Colorado we have some great Brookie fishing. there are many lakes that are over 8 thousand feet asl. many of those streams that branch off from those lakes have some nice Brookies.
Hey Mr Winkleman just subscribed to this chl. Have watched your tv shows for yrs with my boys and now im Grandpa and taking little ones fishing again. Looking foward to watching your videos, Big Jim...
Holy cow! I plan on going up to Ontario some day to do some fishing and hunting, I have a stream behind my house that I pull 8-10 inches out of (12 is my biggest, and happened to be out of there) but nothing like that.
some real nice looking fish. hopefully i can make it out there atleast once at some point in my life. biggest ive caught out here in western mass would probably 10-14 inches. but still some good fishing to me
Why do kids always out fish their parents? When I fish with my Dad I usually catch all the luck and when my boys come along they steal my luck. Still awesome adventures. Great video!
Tim Matheuson was fishing barbe lake in Manitoba and caught a 15 lb 29 inch brook trout , only reason why it's not the world record was because he let it go but yeah check the pictures out , beautiful fish
I should make a show lol. I catch tons of big bookies and steelhead all year on pei Canada. Lots of them around. Biggest I got so far was 8lb 1/10oz. Hooked one bigger but lost her. Between 3lb to 6lb range to many to count now. But that place you're at looks appealing. I'd love to go there
N.W. Montana 1970's, we used to catch Brook Trout 5 to 6 pounds by the gunnysack every September/October when they spawned. Then one year, my dad had this brilliant idea to transplant large mouth bass in that lake. Killed all the Brook Trout and to this day, not one bass gets bigger than 6 inches and the lake, which is large, is full of them. A real shame.
I love to fish and don't have any friends that are girls that like to go. If you're ever in New Jersey let me know. We'll go out fish all the guys, they'll love that.
