With 4 hours of sleep I finally pulled out the W on the Colosseum completion, and on top of that, World Record speed time. I took Claws to help me spec mobs down faster, and melee camped with Scythe. It took me awhile to get to the boss with Monster Examine (World's first monster examine on the boss btw), and after switching to thralls, the waves became butter.
I posted charts my mods Chilled and Hedron made and B5's screenshot for wave placements that helped me get the KC. Nothing is really set in stone on strategy, other than Scythe is a MUST. Even just using a Salad blade is 30% dps loss compared to Scythe.
I think Ancients isn't the play, thralls provide so much dps. Everything in Colosseum has high mage defense and SGS + Bloodfury gives me the same sustain with Death Charge camp.
I think Colosseum is an amazing start to a great encounter. I enjoy the waves, and boss. The invocation system HAS to have a overhaul or Colosseum is going to die out. It cannot be left in this state. It has the potential to be one of the greatest pieces of content Jagex has released if they upkeep it and fix the invocation issues. As of right now, over 80% of them make you lose a run automatically, or reset spam.
