World Record Halibut, It Is But It Isn't 

Back in the day while field-testing our original prototype Kodiak Custom Bottom Fish Jig, Tony "Famous" Davis hooked into a record class halibut that weighed 420 lbs. and exceeded the current I.G.F.A. world record at the time! But wait, there’s more!
Upon violating several I.G.F.A. rules while struggling to bring this barn door halibut to shore, our two-man team blew any chance of securing a spot for Kodiak Custom and our bottom fish jigs in the record books!
