depends on the os on your phone, you'd pretty much have to set up a virtual machine and get a viable interface set up...so it's almost certainly doable but I couldn't really gauge a guess as to how much work it would take to get it running. I've seen quake and doom and a few other ancient shooter games on phones but I have no idea if those were people running the game itself on the phone or if someone just plain made a mockup of the game, a lot of the games from that era were made by really small teams over short development periods so just straight up making a lookalike is surprisingly doable even for a single person.

CB, IAS, exp shrines, perfect maps, FRW (hsarus -> Sanders later), spawns, dmg jewels, etc...there are SO many factors in this game...You could probably have a 1:40 if everything lined up but that would be crazy. I think sub 2 is possible with crushing blow and a really solid run though. Maybe FRW as well needed there.

When i checked last time couple years ago the world record was 1 hour and 50something minutes. So over two hours record is somehow inferior record to me.

@@MrLlamaSC looks like the wiki is saying it's a 0/5/10% penalty to runspeed and stamina consumption for light/mid/heavy armor per slot (including shields), it's been so long since I played this game I can't trust my memory when trying to quickcheck examples against that but it makes a lot of sense in game mechanics terms, especially when the base stat difference is so small for gloves and boots...still seems really weird to never mention something that important in the game itself though. should be easy enough to take a minute and test it. wiki is also saying it rounds the penalty down, so if that's per-slot it might be 0/0/10% for the speed penalty. looking at the items themselves though I think you're probably right: only body armor and shields have a weight category listed.

Best/easiest place to get that last bit of exp for 20. Can't get it much later due to lvl penalty

in Diablo 2 you need to be around the same lvl as the monsters to get experience from them and it is intended to be in Act2 with that lvl.

We've run a few classic runs..they just aren't as fun unfortunately.

Thats probably a personal thing. Back in the day we started with classic, played LoD but when we realized how easy it was to get 99, and how much more items you get and still want certain builds in the end, we did take a step back to classic - beucase its more pure, you don't have to care about that much mules, and so on. But for speed runs, yeah you can not just grind the duchess to get certain runes - no you simply and plain have to consider builds that work more or less without certain items that you will most likely not be able to find in a speedrun. I prefer classic as I said, out of many reasons. I wish classic would have stayed without the synergies, they destroyed many of my favorite paladin builds. ( got over 24 different paladin builds xD )

There's a file on the disk (LoD) that you copy over to the install location for the physical disk version, I can't remember which file at the top of my head, but Google is your friend. It's something with a .MPQ extension.
